Size of the Patch
It's strange, today I see DBD patch is out. I start DL it on steam.
Size is 8 Gigas. I've DL 200 Mo.
I needed to make a pause. When I restarted the DL, the size of the patch was now 3 Gigas.
And When the 3 Gigas were downloaded entirely, then I saw DBD need another update.
So I start the DL, and then I saw the size is 21 Gigas !!!
It's still DL at the moment, I have a very poor internet connection. So it will take me 21 hours to DL it entirely ...
Is it a kind of bug, or is it the real size of the patch ??

Well I’m on PS4 and the patch was only 4 gigs. Ik sometimes games have different sized patches on the different platforms. Was your dbd up to date?

Yes it was up to date, I played a few hours before the patch was out.

Patch size was 8.8GB's. What possibly happened was that your downloads got corrupted - it can happen due to poor internet I'm afraid.

But if my downloads were corrupted, Steam would have downloaded the 8,8 GB once again, at worst.
So, why 21 GB ???
