Saving Bloodpoints Tome 5 Level 1
Here is my guide on how to save as many bloodpoints as possible while also completing every challenge in the rift.
Yellow Circle = Save
Red Line = Collect
Green Circle = Needs a challenge completed before it to be collected
The main path has a few different ways you can go but they should all save the same amount of bloodpoints. I just decided to collect the survivor challenges for this example.

To not feel so burnt out from the rift, complete one challenge per level, and fulfill the rest of the level by gaining shards. Then you can call it a day! The shard grind won't seem so bad if you use this method as you are saving challenges instead of using them one after another.

I'm confused by the green circle. Can you do it without claiming the ones before it?

No. I wrote just above the picture that you need to complete one of the challenges before it.
Decided to use it there because that challenge I'll probably leave till after the killer is released.

Usually I complete every challenge in the archive. The green challenge is one I decided to save so I wanted to represent it properly.
The green circle can only be collected if one of the two challenges before it have been completed. It's optional if you want to save or collect it.

I apologize for my ignorance. I only started playing halfway through the last tome, so this is the first time I've experienced the start of a tome, so I'm about to ask what might be a stupid question.
What exactly is meant by saving bloodpoints? Don't the challenges award bloodpoints? I feel like I'm misunderstanding something.

It's ok mate lol all challenges award bloodpoints. The idea is to save bloodpoints for the next chapter. Once the new chapter is released you should have about 2.5 million saved up ready to spend.
