I need some advice.

I need some advice because for the last two weeks... I have been tunneled to oblivion. The killer has 3 hex perks on for insta downs and broken addons for more insta downs or a guaranteed execution, then you literally only get to play for 2 minutes because they HAVE to tunnel you in order to win. I honestly think there should be stipulations on this to make it fair. If they tunnel, the survivor should be immune to damage like a guaranteed bt for a good 30 secs, or the survivor should be teleported if he stays too long in a specific vicinity for each stage of the hook. They should also limit how many broken things a killer can have on. If they wanna rock a mori, they cant have iridescent add ons or a hex on except for things like ruin. Any hex that guarentees an insta down or an execution should not be able to be paired with two iridescent addons and every one shot/ execution hex perk known to the game. We already have killers who have one shot abilities why make it even worse? I have tried every build but my husband and I am so tired of the toxic odds in this game, the game is no longer enjoyable and the devs do not give a rats a## about any imbalances they have in there. Everything a survivor needs to survive is getting slowly stripped away from them and this game is just gonna constantly keep losing its population because the devs have had 4 f*n years to get their sxxt together and they definitely are showing us as a community as a whole they do not care. I was very optimistic with this game but the imbalances are just too much. I really want to support a good company and game because I know they have it in them. They brought a excellent fxn game but the execution is diabetic shxt sticks. Please help. I dont want to lose my love for the game but I am losing hope every hour and I am praying they will finally make just balances to make it even for both sides. Something has to give. I know I probably am sounding like a typical crybaby but I really do want to see this game flourish and become fun for all sides, for new players and veterans, and have cool things implemented like gestures for killers too. I really think this gem can finally be polished into the diamond it is meant to be if the devs just really take the time to listen, because we do appreciate them for sharing their talent and creating a very capable and lively game for us to enjoy. Sorry for the angry passionate rant but I know some of yall feel the same way. I just gotta keep it real with you all. I love you guys. Q~Q Thoughts?

It's fine dude, feels like rank 20 drama though to be honest. (Which isn't bad. It's just it is what it is.)

Try what I used to do when I was a nooblet. At the start of a match hang out in a locker until the first person gets injured, then get out of the locker and get on a generator. That takes the starting match heat off of you which is good because the first chase can make or break a game in one sides favor.

If it's a tunneler you won't be the target, and if it's not the later chases aren't as high impact. If you know you're the weakest link, don't make yourself visible on the chain.

Uhhhh. If you got a borrowed time no matter what for 30 seconds you know what you can do with that? Borrowed time is already a really strong perk we really don't need it in base survivors.

However they can and will still tunnel you. You now have to stop to mend but after the initial hit you are still one hit. Why focus a full health person if there is an injured one whos bt just ran out? Just looking at different scenarios I have been in. I have been tunneled even after using soul guard being activated and even having bt on after an unhook. Would love some more suggestions though so please feel free to brainstorm and share your thoughts on this.

Its in the purple and red ranks I keep seeing this in. I was rank 4 and I've depipped almost all the way down to 7 because its been that bad. The tunneling, the hex perks, the double iridescents. I have started to avoid ALL moris to try and give myself a more fair game. LOL feel like pulling my hair out sometimes.

I get it, it can be frustrating. But use tunneling to learn how to loop effectively (something I'm still working on).

Easiest way to beat a tunneler is learning to loop well enough that they leave you, or can't catch you for 5 gens.

Easier said than done of course, but you'll simply never get better without the practice.

Thanks. I'll try staying optimistic but also take breaks on bad days. I watch alot of youtube videos like sweh, not otzdarva, ohtofu, etc to try and learn new things on how to use perks effectively, and try to learn what I can when they play killer and what perks they use. Hopefully it will pay off eventually. :)

you know, the saddest thing about tunneling and facecamping is (mentioned before) that there already ARE mechanics in the game to counter it directly. no 'anti-tunnel perks' etc needed.

The game can already tell who is being chased, looked at, who has been hooked, what happened since that person was unhooked etc.

All these things could easily be used to result in a debuff (less BP/slowdown/etc) for the killer. An 'anti-bloodlust' so to speak.

I like that idea. Penalize for face camping or tunneling by taking away what they are trying to get which are the blood points or giving them a speed penalty. I can agree with that. Maybe even an ability slowdown like a certain percentage debuff for trying to down a recently unhooked person like stalking speed, or even disabling their ability for a certain amount of time until they break the chase with that just unhooked person. I like that 🤔

Bad games are tough to push through, but do what you can to stay positive and have fun! DBD can be so frustrating, but I hate to see players who mostly enjoy it step away.

I've learned a lot from Otz and Tofu as well, you can't go wrong there. Enjoy playing with perks, whether they're meta or not, find your playstyle. And good luck!!!
