Well the event sucks

Honestly this is probably the worst event we’ve ever had in the game. Hell even the events when the game first released were more impactful.

Devs threw out the serum currency and added the flowers back only as archive objectives that give you basically nothing in return and being ridiculously simple. Not being able to earn 2 outfits this year is the most nut kicker here. Like what’s new to justify this as an event? 3 new add ons while one is not going to be used outside the event, gens and hooks that give 1000 blood points which is extremely poor, barely noticeable map event makeover, and the terrible rift pass? The real meat of this event is in the skins and rift pass and they expect us to throw them money to get them or grind enough shards after an eternity to get one outfit. This is just greedy; a 30/20 dollar game on top of a battle pass, on top of 8 dollar dlc, on top of cosmetics, on top of overpriced cosmetics, on top of an extremely grindy system.

And with all the bugs introduced like the spirit bug and ps4 frame rate; this has been a massive disappointment. And not to mention the discordance nerf. It’s been a day and already the event lost its charm compared how other games handled their Halloween events like overwatch, for honor, and cod did it much better to bring innovation and free stuff. Most agree that this event is a failure.

Someone pointed it out, that we will get 19 shards less.

It's almost two whole levels of grind that we have to do, so ...

It was always the case, whenever there was an event that got severly bugged by something or with complaints, they take atleast two days to respond to it.

When the cakes got bugged during the anniversary, didn't they take a whole week to fix them?

I have put down the game for almost a month and really have no incentive to pick it up for this 'event'. I might play if some of my friends want me to join them. I've been defending the game needing money for future DLC and licensing for quite some time now, but lately they seem to be making bad business decisions one after another. The community is ticked off and I can't blame them. You take an event that is well known for providing you with at least two free skins if you grind hard enough and then give the community free charms instead. All this during 2020, a year that has been in the crapper from start to finish, you make it so that families that might already be struggling with employment now have to pay money for those same skins. Seems like a solid plan?

Correct me if I am wrong but all the latest survivor and killer skins have been purple or gold which mean they are the highest price they can be. Half the time you can't even grind shards for them or because they are so expensive you'd really need to play this game like a part time job to afford them.

Don't get me wrong, I'm here because I still believe in this game. I believe things will improve and become more bearable for both sides but it just seems to be getting worse. Ever since the rift came out, I feel as if some of the other aspects of 'events' have suffered. Despite complaints the old Scorching BBQ event, Hallowed Blight, and Moonrise event were fun and innovative . I hope that kind of creativity returns to the game.
