What are the halloween event complaints?

I'll start.
I miss harvesting serum as in game currency to unlock certain halloween themed goods. I don't mind that some are puchase-only as an online pvp game needs to generate revenue. I however liked the halloween currency better than adding the rift challenges for the halloween freebies.
I am also perturbed that the killer rift challenge that requires 20,000 bp in Deviousness is bugged as it is impeding progress and in order to bypass it I'd have to do Survivor challenges to bridge to the next killer challenge. It is stuck at 13,360 bp and will not progress.
I also believe the twitch streamer codes giving premium content is going to cause a lot of unnecessary problems among the community and nears the mentality of a "pay to win" issue. Not that you pay, or the charms do anything but it's the people with the fastest internet on pc that will capitalize on this. Console and rural pc have no chance.
Gotta say I love the blight serum killer addon as it creates some truly entertaining moments (not a complaint but I had to mention it).

The problem is there's not really an event. They just put some extra stuff in the bloodwebs. There's nothing to work for, as you harvest 3 plants and then you're basically done, you get 15 rift shards and nothing else. The previous Halloween events had their problems, but removing a majority of the event doesn't solve that problem. This event is boring, there's nothing to do.

sure here's a list
- No event currency which is stupid since we have always been able to earn 2 full cosmetic sets and the devs got a TON of complaints last year for at first only providing 1 free cosmetic set compared to 2 and now we don't even get a single cosmetic.
- gameplay is still stale and it feels no different than just doing regular tome challenges. only "unique" thing are the THREE games i can spawn a flower to harvest for a challenge. Sure there are special hooks/gens but can you really call that an event when it just gives extra bp.
- The "event" items are SUPER rare to find in the blood web and all survivor event addons are permanent while the killer version is only available during the event to use and feels like a waste of bp, actually in the long term it is.
- rift feels stale compared to previous rifts and the last charm doesn't even have an animation and it doesn't look good.
- "Event" charms are code locked and half of them are exclusive and there is a limit to how many times a code can be used which i believe is 10. Love the this bs because they gave away my hard earned event cosmetics for the reason of it being exclusive yet this bs is allowed?
- No actual game play interaction like what we had before with the first Halloween event and the first lunar event which were THE BEST we have ever had because they introduced competition for the event objectives. again this "event" and even the ones before it just feels stale.

There's just 0 incentive to play it over other games that have Halloween events going on.
No collecting serum to get free outfits. You either grind a ridiculous amount to get enough iridescent shards or you grind the rift... but the Halloween outfit in the rift is in the pay section so for it to be free you need to grind to level 70 and this tome gives less rift fragments than the last one making it more grindy. Also, outfit in rift gives no reason to play DBD during event - can go play Halloween event in another game and come back to grind the rift after.
Collecting serum also added another mechanic to the game play switching things up for a bit. It was nice change if pace from just gens/totems/chase.
Event items/addons/offerings not showing on bloodwebs. I get maybe 1 item/addon per blood web, have yet to see any offerings. Would think for an event the rate the show up on bloodwebs should increase?
Offerings cost more than the amount of BP earned from completing gens. With the cakes you use a cake and you could get enough BP to go through a couple blood webs. Completing an event gen only gets you 1000 extra BP. Use an offering it adds one extra gen so at most you get 2000 extra BP on a 3000 BP offering. The cakes were 3000 BP and you'd have to have a terrible match to get less than 3000 BP while using the cake.
Edit: encouraging people to not play but instead watch streams in hopes to get a code - one that console players are at a disadvantage to pc in entering.

I'm ps4 and mines been ok after about 20 seconds in to a match.
Have 1Tb version not pro.

I do believe it's not event specific however, mid chapter patch issue.

I have a complaint but I fear getting DMCA'd for it.
But no in actuality in terms of the event I think we have finally struck a chord with the entire community nobody is happy with this event. the charms being locked behind streamer codes I think is the cherry on top.

I support this.
The issue is that the "event" is a non-event. As in: it doesn't exist. It's like any other period of time except that some things have changed in the background, because keep in mind that "defining" things such as the challenges involving the pustula plants are most likely going to be there for as long as that tome is available to complete (in the Compendium or live), and I'm not planning on doing any of those until probably some time after December.
Not really interested in positively impacting the next one because I have no hope of anything I say being taken seriously or even seen by the dev team. It would be cool if the rift (or at least the pop up that appears in all menu screens) didn't exist tho. It detracts so much attention away from any other developments the game requires.

There's no way to earn the Halloween skins. You just have to buy them. That's really the core issue - last year, gameplay hadn't changed a whole lot but at least the event currency was in the rift. Now there's nothnng to do but farm event items (which are rarer this year).

no I dont have a pro, mine is off and on every match. it starts in the beginning and restarts when im in a chase or doing a gen

This entire event is 5 challenges. Thats it. You cant even interact with the pustulas after completing them.
It is pitiful. Especially compared to the last 2 blight events.
Not to mention you could get 2 free premium outfits as a reward for both of them.

I mainly want more bloodpoints. The pustulas are ok, but very underwhelming unless there's at least 3 of them. I'd go for some kind of multiplier that goes up every day you log in or a reward that you can only get if you log in and play every day of the event. It can be cosmetic or BP.
I can also see that the Rift has taken priority over events with different mechanics, so in that case I would like to see a lot more event-themed challenges than the few they had this time.
I'm not totally disappointed in the event like others here, but I'm not excited over it either, and that's what I was hoping for-- hype.

no Halloween items or nurse items in the Halloween rift. no earn-able Halloween cosmetics during the "Halloween event" uninstalled.
BHVR think about all the people who have purchased every DLC that you have put out with US Dollars since 2016 on top of purchasing your game. We are the people whose pockets you're reaching into like a greedy child. I've purchased 34 characters for DBD and I cant even get some free Halloween Costumes for them in a horror game. What a joke.😂🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

People who spent shards on the new cosmetics basically got scammed because they reduced the cost and didn't compensate at all for a unprecedented reduction 3 days after release.
And i dont think i need to say how long it takes to get thousands of shards

Yeah, I was disappointed too..but I like the joke of Dwight Crow. People on hooks kinda look like scarecrow. So it's cute to see it on hook but would be cuter for all to carry.
I want to wear Clowns plushie on survivors too. But alas...

Cosmetics are cosmetics. I bought the new blight skins at full price days before they were reduced and don't care. I play the game enough it does not matter to me. Anyone who doesn't have the time to do so must be professionals and have the money to buy them if they want.
