So I’m really starting to like blight but....
I’ve noticed for a couple weeks now that his power is so inconsistent. I remember TrU3Ta1ent called it out first and showed gameplay on him sliding off a lot of objects that his hit box should be slamming on. It’s almost like a shadow nerf. I play him on pc because I can’t play him on Xbox he’s unplayable on console because you can’t hit curves and turn sharp like you would on pc. Other than that I’m having a blast with him, I just hate sliding off objects I know should be registering a slam.

I really like him to, but I have 3 grievences
- The point that you brought up
- His height being so low to the ground (During the QA they said that this will be addressed)
- His attack post rush being considered a non-basic attack. There is no difference between his post rush attack and spirit or nurses attacks after they use their power.

Actually, on the third point, there is. Blights attack during Lethal Rush has a considerably larger cone, which extends almost to his sides. Essentially, he has a 180 degree swing during Lethal Rush. THAT SAID, I think making it count as a basic attack wouldn't really hurt anything, though some might say it would buff him too much.

I honestly wish more people would play Blight. I'm survivor main, but I love when I play against Blight. He can go from one side of the map to the other in no time and it keeps you on your toes.

When I said no difference, I meant in the sense that both Spirit and Nurses attacks are modified after applying their attacks, but they're still considered basic attacks. I wasn't saying that Blights attack post rush is the same as a basic attack.
The reason that basic attacks is even a thing is too stop legion from becoming oppressive when stacking perks on him that trigger when attacking a survivor. But that's a uniquely legion problem. No other killer is broken because a perk actually works with their non-basic attack. And it has the opposite affect to where it removes the downsides of certain perks , like STBFL when used with killers that can avoid using a basic attack like Demo

I can see how his height makes using his power difficult but some killers can benefit from a short stature. Hag for instance is tiny and when looping certain loops you can't see her. The only thing you have to go on is the red stain and killers can learn to walk backwards to hide that

As somebody who plays him on PS4, he’s completely fine on console. I have no issues with landing hits.

The problem is that Blight isn't small. So even though the Blight can't see survivors at loops, survivors can still see him.

Tru3 just doesn't understand that different objects have different collision values in DBD. Particularly cars and some other metal objects have always had smoother collision than let's say Crotus Prenn brick loops. Curving as Hillbilly is so much more forgiving on Azarov car pallet loops than other loops because the chainsaw can slide along the car doors if you curve too closely whereas the chainsaw will immediately connect with brick loops if you curve too closely to the wall.

The thing is though is Blight is not short by any means. Survivors can look over obstacles while Blight can barely see over a vault.

People are over exaggerating with his power on console. It is not as bad as PC people say it is or even other console players themselves. they are simply inexperienced with turning.

That would be fine if it was just cars. But if you're surrounded by 50 different trees in a thick part of a forest and half of them count as "round" objects you slide off and the other half are brick walls you'll bounce off of, it gets really tiring, really quickly. Make sure you remember which tree has which collision model! Not to mention all the broken BS in Ormond.

Didn't the devs reduce the Blight's rush collision when he went live as he pretty much connected with air during the PTB not allowing him to get past any objects? Maybe that's what now causes him to slide off of certain objects like trees.
