I saw recently that he has a lower killrate than most killers but i feel like hes basically just like nurse, not playable on console, really difficult to play but also extremely strong.

I wouldnt say hes as strong as nurse but def high A tier for me.

My person favorite build on him is enduring, spirit fury, bbq(duh), and infectous fright. Just keep downing and downing people getting hooks really quick while exerting so so much pressure ending the game with barely any gens done.

What I thought about him from the start, he is a worse spirit.

Spirit and him lose sight of surv, to then guess where surv is and hit them.

Only difference is spirit is much easier to control, and doesn't force you to rebound off stuff losing sight in the process.

He's one of the more fun killers when you arent slamming into thin air and/or sliding off stuff ya try to slam into.

I don't play him as Killer but as survivor hes lots of fun. If I successfully dodge his dash attack I feel so satisfied. 👻🍭

I just play him for the fun, rather than wins. He's still tough to use during a chase since you can't see past someones knees and LoS blockers are a real pain with him, but he's still pretty fun. And since they've confirmed in the livestream today they're finally changing his PoV at some point in the future, he'll be more fun to use!

Gameplay wise I think he is a good Killer, not my cup of tea since I dont like gotta-go-fast Killers but I reckon he has an unique gameplay, a lot of potential on the right hands and if you suck with him you are guaranteed a 4 escape. I recant a statement where I said he was just discount Hillbilly.

Arstistic wise I find him one of the worst, I dislike deformity-horror and Blight is the epitome of it.

When I was first starting out with Blight, I had no idea how to play him and was ready to place him with Hillbilly and Nurse as a Killer I'll never use.

Then I spent around a few hours getting him from Level 14 to 40, got his Adept around 23, and can safely place him in my top 5.

He's a lot of fun to play, and when you have him down, he is scarily effective. Getting him down is the hard part.

He's like Nurse, but I actually find him fun.

Can't say much against him though, since I haven't seen him much.

I couldn't tell ya. Fps issue-ridden console edition skews my results with him.

I usually use blights, and I am rank 1. He is very strong killer.

Ruin, Barbecue & Chili, Undying, Tinkerer are good perks for him.

I call it a Blightjob. Sometimes, if we're feeling extra frisky, we use Compound 21.

Oh God..I can't hear much more of this...

    ....Or can I?? 🌈😱

He is my main now. He is the single most fun killer they have put out in my opinion.

Theres problems with him sliding on things that are 50% into your FOV and colliding with things that are less than 10% into your FOV which can be annoying and can lose you chases, but for the most part he works, and I hope these things get fixed.

Using shadowborn on him recently has made him exponencially more fun, as its harder to miss survivors and it feels youre going at the speed of light!

I do feel countering him from the survivor side is a bit easier than playing him well, but to be fair most killers are harder to play than to counter imo. He is still pretty dangerous.

I would only change 3 things on him:

1.Make his cooldown start recovering DURING the injection animation, like it does when he breaks a pallet with the rush. Theres no reason for the cooldown to just be paused.

2.Refine his collisions but thats a given

3.Make him a little bit harder to be spun. Ive literally seen survivors WALK out of the way of a Blight's attack and i dont think that should be possible ever. Its not the biggest deal and I don't think it needs to be much stronger, but being able to walk out of its way is a bit too much XD

Overall awesome killer. I absolutely love him.

I'm still trying to see what I can do with him.. Don't have many perks I like (some of them that fit his power or weakness) and addons

I feel like he can be A tier... but when I play him B- tier ( awfully close to C tier)

He's one of the best users of the Ruin + Undying combo, so that should tell you how strong he is. Controls are janky, but his mobility is top-tier.

I want to like Blight, but his current camera location is more frustrating to play with.

    He's very underwhelming on PS4...

His rushed attack movement is very unreliable regardless of your skill with him. Sometimes he hits, sometimes he goes past through the survivor.

He can't bash some places of the environment who knows why.

His POV is a problem too but they said it will change.

He might be strong but it is too stressful to play him.

And as I will ever say... His power might be good but it is so dumb.

Blight is on drugs. U never know what you'll get playing against him. I assume it's the same on the killer's side.

All that tell us is how strong Ruin + Undying is. Take it away and I'm not sure where Blight would stand.

I don't like playing the Blight. He feels very high effort low reward to me. You do 90% of M1 while using your power to just cover the map. I don't like that.

I am now able to 4k most non-SWF matches at rank 1 using meme perks, so I think he's very strong. He'd be much better if the environments were anything resembling consistent, though. I lose many hits to janky ass environmental collision.

He's alright, I like that he exists and I can play him at an okay level but I just don't. lol. (That doesn't mean he's bad I just have a lot of killers competing.)

  • TheWarNung
    TheWarNung Member Posts: 794

Blight isn't on drugs! How can you even say that?! His power is a euphoric "Rush" that makes him so energetic he bounces off of walls. Then once he comes down he becomes lethargic and gets the shakes. And then he needs to chase the dragon and keep injecting himself to get back that initial Rush.

    Blight doesn't use drugs, QED.

    ...hey man,you got any serum?

Blight is bassicly like nurse where he's hard to learn but when you get the hang of it you're really strong

I would honestly argue he's even harder then nurse but way more fun/satisftying to learn

He feels somewhere between Billy and Nurse. He's got great mobility, and a deceptively large amount of control.

But he definitely has a learning curve.

I actually thought he was worse than what he ended up being, which is a pleasant surprise.

picked him up the other day, love the idea hate the power. When I think scary/horror the classic gothic horrer alchemist consumed by his work is a tried and true theme.

I don't often think horror = pinball and ping pong, can't say I find them scary. I just find it feels really really silly to be headbutting stuff so I can dash and bounce off the next thing.

Most fun killer they've ever made, and has the highest skill ceiling of any killer so I'm constantly learning new things with him. It's been forever since they've made a killer that I haven't learned everything there is to know about them in an hour of playtime. He can be really frustrating though, and his abysmal camera height needs fixing but I think BHVR are way too stubborn to admit that's a bug they need to fix. Despite his bugs he's still so fun.

One of the best killers in the game. Only thing keeping him from the top is that he gets hit harder by unfavourable maps than Spirit and Nurse.

He's fun, but a noob stomper after all. Good survivors will use small objects to completely avoid your lethal rush.

I don't think blight needs a buff in any way. He's already extremely strong.

I love him. Playing against Blight is a lot of fun, as well as playing as him.

The only thing they should fix is that sometimes if you want to bump into something, you just slide along....? That's kinda frustrating sometimes. but besides that I really like him.

I think he’s insanely strong. Probsbly not nurse/spirit level but just below it. Maybe Freddy level.

Could someone please explain why people think he's hard to learn?

I would like some footage of high skill plays with him also...

    I hate him 🙃

I hate playing him due to his camera height. It literally makes me throw up, whilst Oni just gives me headaches and Billy makes me nauseous, so I physically can't play him.

I hate facing him. It might be because every single blight uses the exact same build, or because I find his mechanics in general unfun as hell, but I drpsuse facing him too. It's just not fun for me and every time I hear the music I cringe inside. He's probably my 5th least favourite killer.
