Bhvr has really screwed up this time.
This patch may be the absolute worst patch that dbd has ever recieved. With the horrible ps4 framerate, to the awful Halloween event...they have really REALLY messed up.
This year's Halloween event is the worst holiday event I've ever played in a game. They gave us horrendous addons that actually put both roles at a disadvantage. They didn't give us ANYTHING else to do for the event except for those juicy flowers that don't really add anything to the gameplay. And all killers got were some fancy new hooks which absolutley nobody cares about. And the dwightcrow situation is a poor attempt by bhvr to get fog whisperers more viewers to attract more dbd viewers.
Then we have the ps4 fps. Bhvr has always favored pc players over console, but this is undeniable proof that bhvr doesn't optimize console nearly as much as they do pc. The dwightcrow event was also impossible for console players.
They ripped off a ton of players who bought the new skins by dropping a surprise discount with no warning! How fun.
They nerfed pop recently along with horrible changes to thanatophobia and discordance. And the nurse is still broken as always.
All the ######### that bhvr has been pulling recently is resulting in a loss of at least 9,000 players, there may be more. Bhvr needs to seriously consider listening to the community and treating us with respect or more and more people are gonna keep leaving.
Bhvr deserves all...ALL the backlash they're getting, it's karma for treating the community like #########.
Don't feel bad for bhvr, they don't need sympathy or defense.

I mean... It's always been like that, hasn't it? They don't understand anything other than money. As long as their wallets are full, they don't care about the community. People, learn to say what you want with your wallet.
And now people are showing it online, which has dropped 20%. Maybe that's why they decided to give us these shards to get 1 free skin? Give at least something? Because they know they gave a $hit in their pants. It looks like a very pathetic sight.. Like a handout to a dog. Shame, BHVR.

It's obvious that bhvr doesn't care about the community at all. But the backlash that they're getting from this patch is the worst their backlash has ever been.

The only thing in the community they care about is how much money they're willing to spend on macrotransactions.
I find it hilarious with this Iridescent Shard login thing that none of the older Halloween can be unlocked. It reeks of desperation to get some heat off their backs.

Like others have said they continue to put less and less effort into making an enjoyable event. They put their effort into creating an event that is essentially a glorified cosmetic sale.
I think this event is an insult to the player base. People already payed for the game and many people buy the DLC's as well as cosmetics from the store and now a battlepass. When the event they release is just a way to sell more skins without making a fun or exciting event it feels that the devs have no care at all for their players.
Going forward I hope the devs try to make events actually feel special rather than a way to sell FOMO cosmetics. However, the trend suggests otherwise.
