I never wanna hear a survivor say “Just use Discordance” ever again
There are now basically 0 things survivors can say about counterplay to 4 survivors absolutely destroying a gen. Pop is hit, discordance is likely a dead perk because of that stupid nerf. Now when a sweatsquad swf with prove thyself and brand new part pounds a gen in under a minute, I dont wanna hear every survivor come and say “shouldve been running discordance”. The most infamous counterplay to actual gen rushing is now dead.

The serious gen rushers bring 3 BNPs and an Object and have the 3 BNPs split up on gens around the map, so Discordance wouldn’t help anyway. Believe me, I played against this last week and it was as exciting and interactive as it sounds. :D
Discordance is still a good perk though.

I notice 0 diffrence on discordance even after the nerf. Most maps are only 90-120 meters, and discordance would always highlight for me

I played some games with Discordance and didn't notice much of a change.
However, I still don't get it why they gave it range

if 4 survivors manage to get on a gen together at any point in the game other than at the very start you are doing something very wrong
also just use ruin + undying + tinkerer get over to the gen fast and have it regress while you beat everyone up and take their lunch money

i love discordance I still use it regardless its still pretty good if you patrol gens which shouldnt be hard considering thats the point is to kill survivors so gens patrolled and stopped working on makes the game longer in turn puts more pressure on survivors and 4k's happen if you lose a gen or 2 oh well not a big deal they still have 3-4 more to go

How much you get tunneled isn't
If you're going to compare atleast make them simular outside of they used to have the same cooldown

The difference is being tunneled relies on both sides.skill or luck. If the killwr tunneled you off hook without pallets you're dead or if you had like 5 extra seconds you can still loop and ive done that past the timer and then screwed myself over because I get downed as it ends. Pop is soley up to the killer as a frequent user of pop I can say I only need 30 seconds or less to use it. If you take longer idk what youre doing. You should never strive for being tunneled and shouldnt strive to not kick gens

Nah guys, the comparison is still pretty good. With old pop you could injure a survivor before kicking a gen. With new pop you have to go instantly to the gen or you loose it due to the shorter timer.
With current DS you can go repairing a gen at the other side of the map and still stun the killer after he chased and hooked another survivor.
Both perks would've needed a timer shortening, but only one perk got it.

I've literally been playing a level 1 legion with discordance rank 1, no issue at all with it, if it's out of range for it to trigger, it'd most likely out of my comfort zone and would be a waste of time to run there to start with.
Seriously, did you even play with the skill before opening your mouth?
It feels like if they added "cannot reveal people in lockers" on BBQ and people started crying for a nerf xD

The discordance range "nerf" is literally the same thing they did with empathy. The range is so high that it's basically still map-wide no matter where you stand (unless maybe in very specific cases like if you're standing in the corner of mother's dwelling and then the furthest gen away from you won't activate but then that begs the question: why tf are you standing in a corner on a red forest map in the first place)

Ds dosent need a timer shortening, it needs a rework tbh.
pop is still just as strong, 15 seconds dosent really make a diffrence. I've been using pop on tier 2 (50seconds) for weeks before the nerf and havent had an issue.
Ik that the pop nerf was unnecessary, but the perk is still very powerful

It's still very powerful, especially on killers with map control, but killers like trapper and bubba are suffering the most. :(

If you plan to regress gens then regress them. Also I so agree DS needs a rework im not an idiot. I'm just saying you can get to anywhere on the map in 30 seconds as killer

I feel like with Discordance it makes develop bad habits sometimes, like when to let go of a chase and go to a gen and when to keep the chase and let the gen go. The distance nerf is fine for me at least, I would feel like going to every gen would make me lose games due to me dropping chases and being to focused on gens than getting hooks.

You can get at most places as killer in 30 seconds. But that was never my point. Sometimes it's not optimal to instantly go for the gen.

Instead of adressing the problem of higher tiers being worse than tier I they instead just made tier I & II useless...

I've retired Discordance in favour of Tinker. Seems to be working ok if not better.

It is a complete non issue, the only way discordance won't activate is if you are standing in the furthest corner of the map, or you're on mothers dwelling.

Yall pretending like “oh but the nerf doesnt matter”, lets just do random nerfs and also give more of an oppurtunity for survivors at the start to go even more unnoticed, with the killer earlygame being made even harder.

Discordance is a circle with a diameter of 194 meters, unless you're on the complete opposite side of the map of the biggest maps, you're not gonna notice a difference. And if you're on the complete opposite side anyway, you wouldnt be able to reach a generator on the opposite side of the map before its finished anyway, even giving survivors enough time to walk away to safety before you get close, wasting your time.
