Just out of curiosity, isn't farming against the games rules ? I'm sure you can report people for it ? I used to bond with survivors to get killer dailies done, but I don't do it anymore, because being banned is bad.
Reporting doesn’t work because the devs never bother to look at them. Look at PC, it’s full of speedhackers that get no type of punishment. I don’t think farming with ALL survivors is against the rules tbh, some people have been talking about farming on the forums and the devs never said anything about being reportable.
Okay....but I find the idea that reporting does nothing disheartening. I report people very rarely, mostly for dc stuff and that one time someone worked with the killer to kill everyone else.
It doesn’t have to be disheartening. If it removes toxic people from the game then it’s worth it. DBD is a very toxic community and I blame the devs for it. Since they don’t bother looking at reports, a lot of people say/do whatever the hell they want because they know nothings going to happen to them.
How are the devs responsible for the conduct of the players?? A lack of maturity and an incessant need for attention combined with a sheer lack of common respect or consideration for others is what is responsible for the toxicity. People have to keep in mind that this is a game meant for mature audiences, and just because someone may be of a certain age doesn't mean that they are in fact mature. The game developers are just that... Developers, not baby sitters or behavioral therapists. People will be #########, things will not always turn out in your favor but you have to understand that outside of something posing a real threat, the devs focus remains more so on the actual game rather than the quarreling amongst the players. How one reacts to or feels about something is subjective, if you're easily offended or find it to be too much to handle you can always turn off messages while you play or find ways to play with people who share the same expectations as you do (SWF or KYF). I know it sucks but the blame needs to be directed at the deserving party and until people can learn how to respect others and separate real emotions from artificial situations we won't see an improvement. The solution is in having more of this community setting an example through their own behavior and the toxic ones will weed themselves out or be ignored and called out by the community

I do not want a ban or a block or anything that would effect the killer or players experience, I just would like to know what the killers name is so I can chose to leave that's all. Theres literally probably 10 people combined survivor and killer I would be happy to never be forced in a match with again. So if I could know before hand I could leave beforehandYou are not the only player in all of DbD. Get that through your thick head. Other people can and will abuse this.

Report them to PlayStation. The game won’t remove them, but the psn network definitely will.1

Yes I'm the one being thick headed. Blocking systems are a joke so it effects no one other then whatever argument you are having inside your own mind. I'm simply done stating my opinion because you will argue until you believe you have been proven right. I'm well aware I'm not the only player and considering the reporting system is a joke nothing can be abused but whatever have good night because my brain can't deal with this anymore.Yes, you are, because you either don't remember or don't know that such a system was put in place (unofficially; it was by a DbD player who created MLGA) and was abused in the exact manner I described. I know those who do not know history are doomed to repeat it, but I'm literally telling you the history and you're refusing to look beyond your little corner of it.

1). Farming games are boring.
2). Worse things have been said.
3). "Toxic behaviour" isn't exclusive to DbD.
4). Online multiplayer games will always have ######### talk.
5) No grown adult should take these types of messages seriously. Just laugh at how ridiculous it is, report to Sony/Microsoft and move on.
6). People in this game get extra mad, as most people in this game refuse to learn from their mistakes, or even admit they made any. They'd rather complain on forums instead of getting better.
7). Bans should only be given out in the most extreme of circumstances.3 -
Had a guy who wished that my house burns down, with my family inside.
I went all the way and contacted the support. Reporting does nothing.0 -

Yeah, it refers to that. If all people are included in the farming, there is nothing to report.
BUT if you team up with the killer to farm someone who doesn´t wants to farm. Then, thats reportable.1 -

I’m holding the devs responsible because if they would actually take their time and look into reports and start banning people, there would be less people like these playing DBD. Yes, you are right. The devs aren’t babysitters but if they want improvement in their game, they need to start taking action starting with the toxic players. I’m not easily offended by these things but wishing someone’s school to get shot up is ######### e d up considering the Florida school shooting and how serious it was because idiots thought shooting up schools was “cool”. and from the looks of how they typed the message, it looked like it was coming from an adult which is sad.
Indeed, a friend of mine has always been toxic in Leauge of legends back in the early days and after riot actually introduced a system punishing this behaviour he was perma banned in less than a month.
Since we all stoped playing lol basically we gave him our accounts and he has gathered 9 perma bann nowIN DBD you have to be live-streaming your exploits in order that the devs do sth against it
