The Risky Repairs shouldn't be a level 1 tome challenge

IMO, the Risky Repairs shouldn't be a level 1 tome challenge because unless a killer doesn't check gens it's almost impossible to finish one gen let alone 2 in a Killers terror radius unless they're chasing someone around that gen, which most survivors don't do, unless the sandbag you

I was only able to do this with SWF. I 99 the gen then tell my teammate to run to my gen while being chased and as soon as the heartbeat comes we both pop it and repeat.

It's achievable but very luck based. Definitely shouldn't be in Tome 1. It's so much harder when you are solo queue when others won't leave the gen at 99.

My friend recently got face camped and hard tunnelled by a Huntress for trying to do this challenge. After messaging to ask what the killers issue was (as they didn’t treat anybody else this way) they said it was because they popped a generator in their face. 💀

"which most survivors don't do"... We are playing the same game, do we?

Got it in the second game without even noticing. I think its fine on Tier 1.

Yeah, i did it by getting the gen at 99% and then quickvaulting a nearby window for probably a minute.

Killer probably thought i was supertoxic but i don't see how to do it otherwise on solo

Got it second try. Prove Thyself, Spine Chill, Built to Last and one hella strong toolbox. So you can finish it even if the Killer interrupts you. And if they don't just position yourself really obviously on the gen so the Killer will see you with BBQ, 99 it and wait.

Was also my last one. Luckily i got it in a solo non farming match against a Legion.

Oh yes they should add the kill all survivors in the basement at the tier 1, since this challenge is good in tier 1.

The easy way to do it is to just use a Jigsaw Puzzle offering since the map is pretty small (even if it has 2 floors) and you are in the killer's terror radius most of the match.

Having said that... yeah, this challange should definitely be in the third or fourth tome.

I haven't even attempted this yet, I'm still trying to get Productive Day and Deadly Deceit.

I managed it on the first go, but agree it is too challenging for level 1.

Perhaps 1 gen in TR and 2 for level 2?

I got it solo q. Commited to a gen when killer ran another off. Ghostface came back after hooking to kick the gen but i was hidden by his approach. Got it and ran like hell. Then the group was being really altruistic so gens werent popping. I 99'd the gen ran to the killer like I was going to get an unhook and let him chase me back to the gen. Popped it and that was my 3rd hook. It was 2nd to last gen and i think 2 more got out. I was happy.

You just need to have 3 friends to ever be able to do this challenge. Also the unhook after endgame challenge. Already hard enough to complete all 5 generators, maybe one in every 40 games I manage because I get matched with too good killers and then also survive all that, open exit gate, have someone get hooked after that, don't get noticed or downed when you rescue and it has to be safe rescue too. These two challenges take me like several days to complete.

Solo survivor here, took a few games (like 4 or 5) but definitely possible.. if you're lucky. Much harder when all the killers who play are stealth with no terror radius =.= dumb challenge. Ended up waiting near an almost complete gen, finished it in their face, twice; died doing it though :|

Blood hunt coming up, you will probably get a farming killer to do that with lol

I finished a gen with my team while the killer was nearby for the first one. The first one shouldn't be hard. The second gen I literally 99 then just waited for BBQ as someone was being chased while I worked on the gen. Killer sees me with BBQ and I wait till he got to me and finished it. Pretty easy.

Did it on first attempt...maybe you should try burning luck offerings 😉

A lot of Survivor tasks are out of your control. The good thing about Killer tasks is you can almost always guarantee that if you 'play nice' with the Survivors, showing your willing to let them go, they'll work with you and let you farm the task.

The same can almost never be said for Survivor tasks.
