Worried about the double bloodpoint event on ps4
I posted this on on technical issues as well but I figured I would get more engagement here. If a mod sees this you can close the one on technical issues. So I am aware this is under investigation. However I want to bring something to the attention of the developers so basically the double bloodpoints event will start Thursday. While this is all good and welcomed by many of us for us ps4 players this will be a very bad experience if no patch gets released by then. I've been playing this game on ps4 today and I can honestly tell you it's very bad at this moment. I assume because of these issues less players are playing the game. Therefore I want to bring this to the attention the double bloodpoints event will be a problem for us on ps4 and I hope you consider a patch before it starts or an extension of the event on console that's a suggestion. I can also say that I've played around 2 hours today and found maybe 3 games at best in those 2 hours. I will say I turned off crossplay because I refuse to play with pc players while ps4 has these issues. Hope you guys sort it out before the event or compensate console in a way of either patching, extending, or postpone the double bloodpoints until this is fixed.

PS4 player here.
The frames only rrally drop at the start of the match for me but i still understand the frustration.
Also for me, the queue times really increased over the last few days.
Some weeks before it only took me like a minute to find a game at night, now it takes me almost 6-7 minutes to find a match (survivor btw)

Normal PS4 or Pro?
Perfomamce may only be really bad at the beginning but it's still awful throughout the match.

There is the first waves ps4, then the slim, and the pro

I really do hope that they take that into consideration for players on the PS4. And it's something that the developers need to be nudged a little on.

I have a 9 month old PS4 Pro and performance is shocking for me, borderline unplayable as Survivor and Killer is a complete no go.

dont worry, I think the math is for every extra bloodpoint you get an extra frame per second, so should be good

as per EULA, if you don't like the current performance you can go and play Civ V.

It's definitely not just at the start of the match. Theres framerate drops mid-chase, and when you're on the hook too. Not to mention when the last gen pops. I quit playing because as a survivor I always died on my second hook because of framerate drops and playing killer is no fun with framerates dropping like that and losing survivors.

I play civ but badly lol awesome game Mr mcote wasn't lying. I take it ps4 is just going to left in this state I havnt been able to play due to the horrible frame rates. I will be surprised if we get compensation for the rift either or missing out on Halloween "advent" so looks like im out. Leaving due to unplayable games.

Frames are still atrocious and still dying during struggle phase on hook. Especially bad on the new re worked map or against any killer that causes a lot of effects like doctor in chase.

I won’t be surprised if they are waiting for the PS5 to release and just ignore fixing PS4

Happy this forum post gets discussion without any toxic behavior no pun intended. I hope they actually fix this because it's horrendous.
