Shouldn't adrenaline completely disable other exhaustion perks after used?
Because adrenaline is already so powerful and works even when you are exhausted, wouldn't it make sense to make the others disabled after it is used?
Ok, so without doing much a possible change that seems reasonably fair could be stacking your current exhaustion timer with adrenaline's. Meaning if you have 20 secs left of exhaustion and adrenaline procs, then depending on what tier you have, adrenaline stacks 40 more seconds of your exhaustion making your remaining time 60 secs before you recover. Thoughts on this?
Adrenaline, now that I have read these comments, still seems balanced to me considering it is a one time use perk. I still hate DS tho. This discussion was just a suggestion for a change to adrenaline.

It does? I mean it gives you exhaustion, so you can't use your other perks until the cooldown is over.

Adrenaline shouldn't work if you're exhausted to prevent stacking with another strong chase perks

no. Thats like one of the worst things they could do. Adrenaline is balanced
5 -
why not? it's literally a end game perk and that's it. If you don't get all 5 gens it doesn't get activated.
7 -
Yeah it works even when you are exhausted. It would just make sense for the perks to stop working after it has been used while you are exhausted. If you are already exhausted and then you use an exhaustion perk, it would be logical to be exhausted for even longer.

Because it's already too strong and this can make it to reward you for not using exhaustion perks. Insta heal and speed boost is too big reward for just existing when the last gen is popped, not to mention how strong it in chase

Adrenaline is balanced, but it seems a bit unfair a survivor could have two exhaustion perks. Exhaustion perks are already very powerful, even lithe can get good use. They could use adrenaline and 40 secs later they would still have an exhaustion perk.

^this
you could make an argument to extend the Exhaustion timer if you wanted tho.

Not really. Anything that gives a completely free heal for doing your normal objective isn't exactly balanced.

why is it so strong? Only case i see it being insane is when everyone is injured and they all fully heal

I think the perk is pretty balanced but personally I have issue with just how much it does. It heals you even if you're on a hook and it wakes you up if you're in the dream and even if you're exhausted it gives you the burst of speed. Personally I'd eliminate either having it heal you completely if you're on hook (maybe it gives you a guaranteed self-escape if on first hook to reward skillful players) or if you're exhausted you still recover a health state but don't get the speed boost. Still, there are many other perks I'd prefer looked at before adrenaline even gets looked at.

It...does.

Even then, it is still good and if it happens in a chase you will lose that survivor using it.

Maybe it could just give the speed burst when already hooked. The healing part could only work if they are not on a hook.

I would just prevent Adrenaline from going on hold when you're on the hook. It makes sense given the name of the perk that it would ignore exhaustion so I'm fine with that bit. Adrenaline is relatively high risk / high reward anyway, but I wish the hook bit were removed to make it more risky to run.

Okay then a insta down and speed boost isnt fair with NOED. It's the survivor version of NOED

Adrenaline heal shouldn't activate if exhausted, speed boost should always activate. No heal when on the hook.
Creates some anti synergy with exhaustion perks to create more interesting choices perk wise.

Adrenaline is a single time use. It’s fine.

By your logic Pop (along with tons of other killer perks) is unbalanced too.
Why should you get free gen regression for doing your normal objective?

its been a while since last time ive seen an adrenaline complain.
0 -
I am not really complaining, just bringing up a possible suggestion. It is just something to talk about.
0 -
I mean completely disable all other exhaustion perks, meaning you can no longer recover use any exhaustion perks after adrenaline is used, maybe.
0 -
and everybody knows noed is bullshit
0 -
same with DS

Y-...you know you can equip more than 2 exhaustion perks already and get both effects as long as you wait for the cooldown right? Like you can use head on, and then 40 seconds later you could choose to use dead hard if you're running both perks.

Yeah the more I read these comments the more wrong I think I am about this.
