Bad Perk Roundup (Steve & Deathslinger)

Our first two contestants - Steve, "The Hair" Harrington and Cowboy Man.

How would you change these?

I really think these two have some of the worst perks in the game. As a Steve main (I mean, who else can beat that hair?) I don't remember the last time I used any of his perks, aside from getting the adept.

Second Wind is his only perk that remotely viable, but I feel like 30 seconds is a little to long, especially compared to something like Inner Strength. I feel like if it was 20, or 15 seconds I would use it.

Babysitter is just terrible and outclassed by Borrowed Time in every way. Maybe if it gave the Unhooked a slight speed boost along with everything else, but I can see how that would be abused.

Camaraderie also just kinda sucks. The obvious change would be to make a true anti-camping perk and give the same effect if the killer is within a certain distance (while not being chased) but I've heard they tried something like this along time ago and it got abused to hell and back, so sorry Camaraderie.

Now for the Cowboy Man.

Gearhead. It exists. For some reason I thought it only worked on Great skillchecks now, but when I went to check on the Wiki it was back to working on Good skillchecks. I think the fact that you have to hit two attacks kinda holds it back, but what do I know?

Hex: Retribution. It's alright? I feel as a trap hex, Haunted Grounds is a much better choice for a perk slot. If they gave it the Undying aura reading, I could see it being a good hex protection perk.

And finally, Dead Man's Switch. Again, it's just a perk that kinda... Exists. As it is, I think Thrilling Tremors or Corrupt Intervention are much better gen blocking perks.

I've realized that Deathslinger's perks aren't really... Bad, per se, just outclassed by other perks. I still think Steve's perks are just plain bad, though. These are just my opinions though, I'd love to hear some build ideas for them.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Deathslinger's perks are so underwhelming. Dead Man's Switch is a joke because like Furtive Chase, it ONLY works when you hook the obsession. And when you can't find the obsession, wasted perk slot.
