Any hope for extending the event?

As everyone is pretty much aware by now, playing on PS4 has been downright unplayable. Supposedly a fix is coming later this week, which is great, but that leaves only a few days that PS4 users will be able to play the DBD Halloween event without having to worry about poor fps affecting their games.
This has soured the PS4 DBD experience for the duration of the entire event. Is there any hope to extending the event at all? Because if not, then us PS4 users really got screwed over.

Everything operates on BHVR's end. Having new hardware doesn't necessarily mean that an online only game is going to run smoothly.

You call this an event? I'm sorry but if this is your first dbd event they've done way better in the past, I'm sorry this is now the experience you'll expect from dbd events from now on.

Not delivering seems to be the status quo with DBD though, especially with consoles. Awhile ago they said the consoles would be optimized and that never happened. So I'll believe it when I see it.

Sadly it is my first DBD event. I keep hearing about the great events that they've run in years past, and it's amazing how this pales in comparison. Not only was I looking forward to something that they've done before, but having such poor optimization during the event has really soured me on the whole DBD experience.

Almost every event there's problems in the first week. It's almost like clockwork. They usually extend it to compensate.
