Imagine Among-Us minigames replacing most skillchecks.

Visually different but same gameplay wise:

  • Connect 4 wires (by colour/numbers on them)
  • Press a few buttons (in a certain order/without order)
  • Hold a button
  • Move your cursor through the labyrinth
  • and so on, if you played Among Us, you'd know what I'm talking about.
  • old skill checks remain but appear like 1/10-15 and are way slower.
  • you don't need to hold M1 on gen anymore. Now you just press M1 and do appearing skill checks/look around when there are none. if you want to release a gen, simply press any movement key (WASD) or sprint button.

Skillcheck affecting perks (increases difficulty of skillcheck/decreases) would be reworked to do something else, like increase progress from skill checks/decrease progress from skill checks.

Failing a minigame (releasing a button before needed, connecting wires in wrong pattern etc etc) would fail a skillcheck.

This would make survivors pay more attention to gens, so buff for stealth killers.

New players would have less pain in the ass to learn skill checks (difficulty of minigames I'm talking about is really for pepegas, I saw kids figure them out in less than 10 attempts)

I think this would make gens more than boring M1 simulator. WDYT?
