What is considered counterplay?
I am wondering because I think I may be wrong about Deathslinger (kind of). For example, is playing stealthy against huntress and Deathslinger a 'counter' or just a playstyle? Is trying to dodge a hatchet ready to be thrown at you juking? I am just a bit confused on what counter play is in this game.

Counter play is strategic moves to resist/deter the opponents tactics. Flashlighting wraiths and hags, avoiding strong loops against trapper etc

Playing stealthy is a play style not a counter play. Counter play is being able to react to something and have time to evade it if one has the skill.
What players mean by counter play then is take the huntress, she has a wind up to hatchets with an audio cue and it enables survivors to dodge them. Its also a juke in essence but you can react to the cues and counter to her power.
Most killer have a slight counter to their power, hag crouch, trapper deactivate traps, Billy change direction, Myers hide behind an object etc.
Players say death slinger has no counter play due to the above not being possible, being out in the open well his power is instant and you don't have the same time to react. So the only real counter is near loops and to just drop a pallet early or jump a window.
