Weird Crying after all other survivors are dead

in Bug Reporting

I was last survivor and I heard someone else crying and panting. I was uninjured. It makes the game way more creepy, but I think it is a bug? Have I missed something?

    Was it there a dead survivor near you (Moried, Disconnected, or Bleed out)?

    Or was it there wherever you were going?

    If it was in Midwich Elementary School, a girl can be heard crying in the girls' bathroom. It is intended as a reference to the original Silent Hill map where that happens too in that location.

    Any clues on to what this was? It was really weird. I have not had it happen again.

    You've encountered Alina.

    Alina was a young girl who's father worked hard as a labourer in the meat plant. The management were cruel and evil. The staff were underpaid as is the way with these things. Her mother died to a drunk driver when she was very little so her father was the only family she had.

    He worked hard and struggled to put food on the table and to keep the lights on, month to month. Child care was out of the question as they had little money as it was and they had no other family support.

    On school holidays where he couldn't rely on the school to look after her whilst he worked, he would bring Alina to the meat plant so he could keep an eye on her. One of these time Alina got bored and ventured into the back offices of the plant as she had never been there before. She tiptoed through the corridor of the run down establishment until she came to an unlocked heavy metal door. She was never seen again.

    Rumors spread that the Managers where in deep with the occult and the girl had seen too much. Other rumors said the girl was killed and ground up and process with the other meats, unbeknownst to the hapless consumers and her inconsolable father, and that her spirit haunts that place to this day.

    Others say that it was probably just a sound glitch from a DC'd injured survivor, but who knows?
