Why can't Nurse cancel her first blink?

Yeah, I know you can look down, but you still 1) use a blink and 2) get hit with the fatigue/cooldown. In a lot of situations, that isn't apt. So, why can't she simply cancel the blink? Would it make her broken, or OP in some manner that I'm not seeing?

Nurse is the strongest and most difficult killer in the game. So its fine that she cant cancel her power.

She's already strong so any changes to her would most likely be a nerf and not a buff.

Is Nurse difficult yes, is she the strongest? I disagree. I praise people who play her but I’ve yet to see a strong Nurse player.

the point of the second blink is to correct the mistakes of your first blink.

If they added the ability to cancel, it would get the Pyramid Head treatment. Since a blink is tremendously more powerful than PotD, the punishment for cancelling would probably be so nauseating you'd wish you never asked for the ability to cancel in the first place.

Nurse is like SWF, both are overexaggerated to death.

Survivors can't have strong perks because death squads.

Nurse can't be bearable to play because of super omega 500k hour Nurse mains.

You just havent been playing long enough. There are some nurse gods out there just not as many due to her nerfs.

But if you've never had a nurse 5 gen 4k your team then you havent been playing long enough.

It's probably a well-intentioned attempt to give her counterplay (you know, charge at the nurse and hope she overblinks in pure shock)

The counterplay to her first blink if you're too close is to run towards her and hope she oberblinks. Now she cancels her power and you have no distance and she can blink again. The nurse has 2 blinks and is eating your ass, you're dead. That's it nothing you can do from this point onwards.

I wouldn't say nurse is fine as-is; her bugs are plentiful and her add-ons are #########. But in terms of mechanics she's not exactly in a horrific oh god bhvr this is like blight and old freddy had a child buggy, it's just regular bhvr buggy, and she's still the strongest killer in the game.

You remove one of the few counters a survivor has against her. If a survivor loses line of sight and runs past the Nurse while she's holding her blink then she can immediately cancel and hit you. Her blinking into the ground gives you some time to react and prepare your next move.

I'd say this would be an OP change.

Sounds like ya’ll havn’t even faved a good Nurse. While I doubt I’m the best, it’s certainly a guaranteed 4k or 3 with a hatch out.

Understanding how survivors evade their movement once LOS is broken is key, you only have 1 second to think about it, but once you mastered the prediction technique and not the mediocre Nurse “first blink to get range, 2nd blink hit” garbage, yes, you are indeed unstoppable.

Right, let's repeat the same mistake as we had with PA, and currently have with Deathslinger.
