The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Would you consider this tactic against Pig 'holding the game hostage'
Got a match against Pig with some friends. We decided to go with the tactic of 99ing gens whenever someone's got a RTB on.
in the end 3 of us escaped (last person was a regular sacrifice), with no rtb even activating.
endgame chat and the killer accuses us of holding the game hostage.
Thoughts?

Not holding the game hostage. Just some advantages of SWF.

Doesn’t matter. The losing side, regardless of role always has excuses for it.
Unless you’re leaving other info out, no way could a report ticket of your team holding the game hostage will be validated.

Definitely not.

It's a tactic against RBT but only works in SWF because you need to communicate this. But RBT kills are not that common unless the killer uses tampered timer with crate of gears so I wouldn't mind survivors doing this. I like playing pig and RBT is mostly a slowdown since it gives an alternative objective, this fact doesn't change when you 99 a gen. When survivors do this you can patrol jigsaw boxes instead of gens so no hostage situation here.

That's the strategy to counter her power... I dont see the issue
Do as much as you can till someone goes down then wait till the survivor is close to or got the trap off... then do more gens... repeat
It happens to me sometimes
Oh I also had a match where only one gen was done but it activated 2 traps... both died to it

So how long did the match take and did you guys just hide for 90 percent of it?

99'ing generators was an old tactic against Piggy plus it was something that used to be done a lot in the early days of the game, 99'ing all 5 gens then just running around the map activating them all at once - this was before the killer could damage gens.
It's a tactic that can work on Piggy, but of course Piggy can still damage the gens now and if they have Pop even more so...so it's not holding the game hostage.

No. That's just a counterplay tactic againt the Pig.

Drawing out the trial, sure. Holding it hostage? No, that's something completely different. That would be if you were 99ing gens with zero traps left and refusing to finish any of them ever. Just running around, keeping them all at 99, doing sinister things in the shadows as the terrified form of Amanda creeps past, looking over her shoulder as a twig snaps behind her...

I bet this pig had so much fun playing against you, huge props to you

The difference is you still intended to work on gens. Where hiding apparently crosses the line is when that’s all you intend to do the rest of the match.

If all 4 survivors are hiding for an unreasonable amount of time... That's holding the match hostage
Or if the last two are hiding and waiting for the other to die (for hatch).... That might be holding the match hostage

Wow he complains about using external tool to have an in-game advantage ? What's wrong with killers ?!
1 -
naw. they weren't complaining about us being a swf. they didn't even know. (might have suspected).
they complained we, and I can only guess here, didn't try genrush and then had them pick us off when everyone tries to remove the active rtbs in a panic?

Ok? I’m not sure where you disagree with what I said.

I misread what you said before... Sorry
I read this to mean something it wasn't meant as...
So I made it black and white

No worries. 😄

Why would that be holding the game hostage everyone completed the match lol. And it's also probably one of the only decent ways of countering tampered timer. I usually try to 99 gens against pig now because that add-on is so disgusting.

It's not holding the game hostage in the slightest. Completely allowed.
