I don't think he needs it.
His chase power is strong enough as is. Pallets are the one strong counterplay he has outside of a good juke.

From both a realistic and gameplay perspective, nah. I use industrial machines that sooner break that pull a glass cable through an S shaped tube. Some dude holding a gun to pull someone using a pallet to anchor themselves? Not a chance.
It also serves to balance Slinger and offer counterplay.
