Obsessed Should Change On A D/C
So I have had matches recently where, if I have an obsessed in a Survive With Friends group (which is a garbage idea in itself) he 'takes the hit' and disconnects, rendering any Obsession perks null.
It needs to be reworked so, if the Obsessed disconnects, someone new becomes the Obsessed.
This garbage cheating on the part of ######### survivors needs to stop.

I would agree with this on all levels except for the case of Dying Light. I still think this mechanic should be implemented regardless.

All this mental gymnastics in order to do sth when somebody DCs
Why not simply fix the actual problem?

How do you fix the problem?
Well, other than remove (or allow Killers to opt-out of) Survive With Friends.
Every time I get a SWF group and none have Obsession perks, they knows I have 1 or more Osbession perks and the Obsessed will d/c to render my perks null.
I mean, they could also just add an Obsession to every match, perks used or not, then just ban the frequent disconnecters.

Punish Dcing, its so simple that every other developer has figured out that this is necessary.
A dc shoudl result in an instant queue time punishment that increases the more you DC, thats how most competitive games handle this problem

It would also help if a dc equaled a full hooking (but I think it's just short of that value. So dcing punishes a Killer, too.)
But yeah, the Obsession should change to someone in a match should the Obsession disconnect. It's the only fair thing to do.
I get Dying Light works if the Survivor runs away like a wuss but no other Obsession perk works once someone wusses out. If they see you're not Meyers, they bail and the Killer is screwed.0 -

Just punish Dcing and I will be fine knowing that the survivor has to wait now for his ragequit0 -

But you can best your candy apples if a KILLER were a habitual DC-er, they'd be banned fast because it'd make the cash-cow Survivors unhappy.

All dc'ing needs to be punished. Both survivor and killers do it in game and in lobby. It ruins the game and there is no need for it
