Are there killer hacks that tell them where survivors are?!

Highly suspicious.

This is the fourth game this week where a killer running NO tracking or aura reading perks whatsoever (or add ons), bee lines RIGHT to other survivors as soon as someone is hooked (I can see this occurring with Kindred and the direction the killer immediately heads in).

I’ve even had it happen to me whereby (having gotten sick of it) I’ve also been running Distortion, Calm Spirit, and Iron Will, not been even REMOTELY close to a gen and the killer has STILL beelined immediately to my exact direction and found me in my hiding spot.

I’m not streaming, so it’s not stream sniping either.

So what the hell is happening?! Is there a new hack or cheat killers are using that I’ve never heard of?

The only thing in common across these matches is that they were all using Agitation. But that could just be a coincidence.

Yeah like every game? ngl but there's kinda a increased of them than ever. I'm seeing at least a hacker once per week and that's a lot.

Whispers would beat out all of that.

I'm not really seeing people I think are hacking very often, but cheating via things like VPN? Multiple times a day. In the EU servers, half the killers seem to be VPN from all over lol.

I've never heard a longtime player say there were no cheaters in DBD. It happens. It's just extremely rare.

There probably are hacks like that that exist. At the same time you never know if the killer happened to see some1 in the distance during a chase or somehow heard a noise and headed in the general area. Maybe there were scratch marks. Maybe they noticed a gen had been worked on and knew a survivor was probably in the area. Maybe the killer went to kick a gen and went in the wrong direction. Maybe the killer just got lucky.

Maybe they saw a gen in progress and looked around to find a survivor. Maybe you're hiding in too predictable spots.

    I’m talking about:

    • no bbq
    • no whispers
    • no other aura reading
    • no Spies from the shadows or Stridor or TT
    • i’m on the opposite side of the map, and make sure I’m well hidden, and not close to a gen.
    • Im running Kindred, distortion, Iron Will, Calm spirit
    • i SEE the killers aura upon hooking, and I see the other survivors auras.
    • The killer goes in exactly the direction of one of us. When they head exactly in my direction, sure enough they’ve come RIGHT to the spot I was in. I was even going to dead zones where the killer had ZERO reason to go there to test my suspicions (or to see if they have BBQ), and they still come straight to me. And nothing I can see in their load out after the match explains how they were doing that.
    • Weird thing is, with every one of these suspicious matches they were all running Agitation.

If you get to see what killer brought in these matches, then am i right to assume you escaped in these game?

If so, i highly doubt they use hack because hackers usually won't lose no matter what because that's the point of using cheats.

I've had some ridiculous things happen in DBD where I am about to call hacks but then the killer ended up being a streamer and I got to watch it from their point of view.

Probably one of the biggest times was a myers who magically found me in a locker but when I watched the stream he had stalked me with the mirror shard and did actually have wallhacks on me while I found a hiding spot.

I never want to call hacks because that's the biggest compliment you could ever give a legit player.

No. Died. I spectated/waited to see what their load out was because of how suspicious and frustrated I was.

You see the killer's loadout at the end dead or alive once the match is finished. Have you played the game within the last 2 years?

Then it's hard to judge whether they hack or not. For me i have never encountered hackers in my 600+ playtime.. so no offense, but it's hard to believe it personally.

Yes i know. But usually for me personally i won't speculate the game after i died because i'm solo que.

And if i really did, i always see some bad plays from my teammates like crouching in corner do nothing.. and it hurts.

4th game in a week? I think this is a quote that can simply be argued with "luck", even more I think there are just killers that are pretty good at reading survivor movement/behavior. Just take FunGoose who estimates like 5 possible scenarios within 10 seconds with his high-speed-talk and then confirming one of them short after

Also I think many survivors underestimate several built-in tracking for killers. Like you don't need Spies to notice crows going off, you don't need Stridor to hear survivors' breathing or footsteps, you don't need Predator to notice scratch marks in the far...

    Maybe put some video proof

    Did you read?!

i said I SPECTATED and WAITED after I DIED, so that I COULD SEE what the killers loadout was once the match was OVER.

And nothing in the killers load out could explain how they were magically always knowing the exact spot of other survivors after someone else was hooked. Behaving like they had BBQ, but they didn’t. They didn’t have any tracking/aura perks or add ons. The only weird commonality was that all of these suspicious killers were using Agitation. Which is highly strange.

Why are you sound so angry? I know you told me you stayed and watch until the match is over. What i meant is i can't really judge these killers because i didn't see the match myself. I am not saying you're lying, i'm just saying what i feel about this because personally i really haven't met a single hacker.

And about them all using agitation.. that sounds suspicious indeed. Maybe you could try to use agitation as killer to see if there's bug or something?

And btw, you can try to report these killers for hacking if you're in these situations again. If they are indeed hacking, they got banned. If they're not, then nothing is gonna happen to them.

Yes there are wallhacks, and yes, I have also seen an increase in hackers recently. One trial I had a Nea that was running as fast as Slinger, to the point where she looped me around a rock and accidentally nearly overtook me. A couple have mysteriously lost collision at key moments without Dead Hard. And yes, I went against a killer with speedhacks that accidentally activated them whilst he was carrying me.

There definitely is a hack that does that. Had a hacking Freddy who found me at the upstairs locker shortly after someone had been hooked.

Btw I know he was a hacker before this because he was using speed hacks.

    it call discord.

    Was it Oni?

He has the glove addon that can be map wide wall hacks with the right setup.

    Ofcourse scratched mirror Myers.

Or just good predictions and head phones.

Try not running near crows since they also give your position away, currently it is more easy to see them than a few months ago.

Game sense? e.g. I know where a survivor was, I know he likes to go for unhooks and he will be inside bbq range. So I can guess where he might be.

Yes, those hacks exist, but only as private/paid hacks... So they really are uncommon. You see em more around free weekends as well, since people can easily roll accts to get banned.

4 in a week is way too common for it to really be a cheat. It just isn't that common.

It MAY be some new exploit.

It also MAY be related to the recent display bugs that have been around (where at the end of match, it looks like killer wasn't using any perks). Could be agitation is showing when it's actually bbq&chili.

So take your pick, display bug, agitation related exploit, but probably not an actual esp hack. Oh, one last possible is maybe an engine hack to remove assets from vision unless close to them.

Yes, these hacks exist. Is it likely that that was how the killer found you? No, it’s much more probable that they just saw or heard something you didn’t realise, but anyone who tells you that those cheats don’t exist in this game is wrong.

As someone who knows alot about how cheats work in games and what kind, this could either be the killers using certain perks or they are using a special cheat that allows you to see the model of characters through walls, along with hitbox and stuff.
