Just delete breakable walls before it gets worse.

I don't think anyone likes breakable walls. Added in killer shack and everywhere, they ruin decent loops and as killer, makes you waste time. Why cant you see this was a bad idea, doomed from the beginning, and revert it?? There's absolutely no good sides to breakable walls. I really hate the new maps because of the damned walls. Killer shack for example is mindgameable, doesn't need a breakable wall to ruin it. If you keep adding breakable walls everywhere, you'll just ruin the maps and the gameplay for everyone, killers and survivors. And on a side note, making god loops to be complete death zones doesn't fix anything, it creates another problem.

Theyre just really poorly placed. Map design is the biggest let down in this game by far and with the McMillan reworks you can really see it.

I agree. I loved the Coal Tower map changes, and now they are ruined by breakable walls, just get rid of em'

I like breakable walls, aside from specific walls on specific maps. In general I think breakable walls, if they are in a strong loop and allow the killer to make the loop weaker or not, are a good thing. The killer has a choice between spending time breaking the wall to make the loop weaker for later or leaving it alone but losing a bit of time at a chase there.

The problematic walls are the ones where it's either an infinite loop if the wall isn't broken, which means the killer MUST break the wall or they are in serious trouble, and the walls where breaking them gives you no benefit at all or even makes the loop stronger for the survivors. (Like why are there breakable walls on the second floor of the house in MacMillain Estate? What's the point of breaking them?)

So no, breakable walls in general shouldn't be removed from the game, they're an interesting mechanic when they're placed properly. But I do think a few specific walls on specific maps should be revisited.

I rather like the breakable walls myself. I am selective about which ones I break and which ones I don't. When I'm playing Killer I can use them to herd and bottleneck Survivors. When playing Survivor I can use them to try and provide myself a head start almost as good as a Sprint by going a route where I know the Killer will have to loop far around or spend the time smashing through. The walls are actually pretty strategically placed so that either side, if thinking ahead, can make effective use of them.

They just need consistent placements that give Killers a balanced choice. Old maps aren’t designed with breakable walls in mind so they kinda don’t do that. The saloon does it quite well though and I think they should look there for inspiration dare they revisit the old maps design-wise instead of graphically.

My problem with breakable walls is that survivor literally has 0 interaction with them. They can't rebuild some or break others, its just oh ill break this as killer because i have to

Why do i feel like devs know that idea failed, but don't wanna admit they're wrong so they keep them in game anyway?
