Which of us was in the wrong?
So earlier today I was playing Wraith on the asylum map with the huge building in the middle. (Can't remember the name but it's the same realm as Clowns map)
One of the survivors was someone who I've encountered before and helped out in the past with rift challenges and things the others were a swf.
Now this match was really not going their way. I eliminated the first of the swf before a single gen was done and everyone had been hooked at least once. At this point the other two proceeded to run straight to a corner where there was no hooks as I'd already used it when killing the first and stayed there the ENTIRE game. No doing gens no attempting to do anything just staying there until I downed them then wriggling free just to run back.
Obviously this was frustrating as I was in a position to easily finish the game but couldn't just because these guys were too far from hooks so I asked the other to try and heal them as soon as I dropped them so I could immediately down them again and reach a hook. It didn't work because they wouldn't stay still to let her heal them and at this point I got a barrage of messages telling me I was being reported even though the way I saw it they were taking the game hostage.
So. Who was in the wrong?

If they were abusing a deadzone, you should have just downed them and let them bleed out. They were asking for it and have no-one to blame but themselves and terrible game design, but mostly themselves.

They can't hold the game hostage by running in a corner since you can just down them in said corner and let them bleed out ending the match.
Teaming with a survivor on the other hand is a bannable offense. It's called "teaming with the opposite team".*
* = I'm referring to this part of the thread:

Their fault not yours mate. If they went to an area where you couldn't make it to a hook then you let them bleed out.
Never let survivors try to bully you in this game lad. If they message you just laugh at them since that will annoy them more.

From the sound of the post yeah those survivors were holding the game hostage if they were refusing to progress the game. regarding the teaming with the other survivor from the sound of things normally yeah thats against the rules but i would believe giving the situatiation i would imangine that you might be off the hook there but dont hold me to that.
I would say if that was to happen again and lets hope not, slug them and let them bleed out probably a lot better option then trying to drag them to hook.

Survivors love to do this, crawl away just to waste your time when the game is literally over. Some of them will even say "you didn't kill them" because they bled out on the floor and didn't die on a hook.
Like dude, you died. It doesn't matter how. But that's the mentality of alot of those players.

I get that but up until that point I was playing properly. It was only after this happened that I even told her I was in her lobby.
In the end they did bleed out but it completely ruined the entire game especially for the person now trying to do every single gen solo.

I did. But by that point the game was pointless. The one solo couldn't do gens because she was alone and they wouldn't come out of the corner even to heal her. She was also death hook so had I hooked her the game would have been basically over. They literally killed any fun and competitiveness just so they could deny me points.

If you knew they were there why didn't you just down them both? If you didn't want the other survivor to depip because of these guys you could have just let these two die and give the last survivor the hatch. Making a survivor cooperate to kill their team is actually an offense and can get the survivor banned

I'm trying to level up a lot of killers and I'm short of add ons for the killers I do have leveled.

It sucks to say this but you were in the wrong here. Trying to get another survivor to work with you to work against the other survivors is a big “no no”.
That survivor repeatedly running into the corner, you could have let them be and let them bleed out. No problem. Their choice.

I think you should have slugged them and let them bleed out, and then let the friendly survivor have hatch. They definitely created an unpleasant match for everyone by refusing to leave a dead zone, but sometimes you just have to say, "This match sucks," and try to get it over with, even if it means you lose points.

Incorrect. It’s explicitly stated that working together with the killer (for the purpose of finding and killing the other survivors) is against the game rules.

What the SJW survivors did was lack of sportsmanship (but by no means holding the game hostage), what OP and solo survivor did is ban-worthy.
