Maybe they're mean, cause they're bored.

I've been playing survivor a bit lately. Mostly I want to see what the most common killers on PS4 are Anyways after a good chunk of game,s I've realized. The most fun part of the survivors game, is interacting with the killer. I don't think I've met a single person that thought fixing a gen was fun in any way.

So you run loops with the killer, tea-bag, and whatever else you can do to draw out the fun longer.

Killer broke my gen? Screw fixing it, gen tap, and play till he loses interest.

Oh #########, I've played a little to long, better waste his time while someone else does those boring gens, I'll wiggle my slugged body under this window so he vaults 2-3 times before getting me. Haha, dumbass. i hate when that's done to me, but haha.

I could go on, but you all have done it too. You've played survivor, got bored of pushing the action button in time to a rather easy check, and reached into your bag of troll poop you saved up from other survivors. so you could have some fun.

I can see you point, but we all don't do this sort of thing.
I have plenty of fun trying to sneak about, and do gens.

I'm not one of those mile a second juke masters that can instinctively take killers on tours of pallet town that seem to be the bored types.

No, I haven’t. Nor do I plan to.

All of my actions are good natured. A survivor is being chased and I know if they get downed they’ll die? Yeah I’ll try to get the killer’s attention. I survived with my friends - a feat in itself since we are bad at surviving? Yeah I’ll do a victory dance out of sight of the killer. I walk or stand by the killer? I’m trying to let them know they can hit or even kill me.

And I find sneaking around doing objectives to be fun and I wish stealth was rewarded more.

Same here. I'm pretty bad in interactions with the killer, so I prefer to sneak around, save people, do gens and destroy totems. It would be nice if that would be rewarded more.

The bad mannered survivors are a certain type. They arent playing to enjoy the game, they play to try and tilt other players.

Same people that will abuse exploits and not care about bans, or send horrible messages.

Same people that dc when they are downed or miss their ds.

They dont want to play the game, and hopefully when they add bans to ps4 they can go to some other game.

As a side note... when you pick up a survivor near a window or vault, just turn your back to the vault location.

Yup. Always the decisive users with flashlights. They'll exploit bugs and teabag constantly, when you down them after they've used their D Strike they just disconnect.

Always the same characters too. Nea, Laurie, Meg, Claudette.

They use all the crutch perks and disconnect to keep in the low ranks. They do this because they don't want a challenge or a proper game, they just want to bully the less experienced killers and tell them to "#########" at the end of the game.

So you are hoping that we do these things to justify your thought process?

Folks like you are basically begging to get tunneled into the ground.  It’s even more amusing when people with your mindset act totally shocked and wronged when we do it.  Survivors have their toxic behavior, we can gladly break out our “toxic” behaviors too.

I have found some awesome killers, like bang on in their game and couldn't fault them one bit, some I message and tell them I thought they did an amazing job on PS4, some are campers and though it is sad they lose out in the end too cause gens get done and they lose out, and then there are the jokers like me who play killer, keep the game crazy fun and no one dies .... and nothing says astonishment as when you find someone on the gen, go to chase and see they are injured so walk away after kicking the gen ... no fun in killing an injured guy you trip over, maybe once or twice I will hook one for some added points, or being dropped at the hatch when you thought you were boned ... that is what keeps the players amused, or just how a killer ticks .... I have seen some great survivors as the killer and some bad trolls, as the killer I go in for the laughs, nurse first, spirit second and freddy third, and with freddy it is always for the laughs but when you have downed someone and go to put them on the hook to have 2 awake survivors body block the hook .... 3 times .... same person downed. Some would say tunneling and yes normally I would agree but how many times do they have to run in front of me before it isn't tunnelling and the exact same survivor hadn't managed to be hooked even once? If a killer is mean maybe it is because they have faced that kind of stuff.

I'd never stoop so low that I'd start to resort to trolling and other bullshit to have fun.
Compared to popular belief about players in the modern gaming industry, I am not some ######### sociopath and try my best to RESPECT my fellow players. I know that they are human, with their own lives, and I plan on treating them as "I" would like to be treated.

@pemberley I LOVE doing gens. I have over 500 hrs as survivor and it's still my favourite thing to do. Scratch chases, don't need that pressure.

To be honest I can understand why some survivors will provoke killers with teabags etc. during a chase - it serves a purpose if the killer takes things too serious and might make them spend an entire match chasing one survivor for an easy team-win.

I don't take it personally when survivors "bully" me as a killer. Maybe I should in some cases, but generally I think the intention is really more about making me pursue them even more to allow their teammates to do generators in the meantime. Some people are really good at evading killers and stalling them, so why shouldn't they use their skills in the best way possible? Everyone can fix a generator, but properly evading killers during a chase is something that takes serious practice.

I often opt quickly out of a chase if I know generators are being worked on and I can see the survivor is a sneaky bastard. If you accept that you cannot win every chase, your one step closer to winning more matches in my opinion.

Stop trying to justify toxic behaviour by labelling it as some kind of way Survivors want to interact with the Killer for "fun." You are being toxic, just stop.

They are toxic because they can, end of story.

Having such power that you get bored by playing the game as intended speak for itself.

And knowing that you can troll and ruin someone else's game while having the tools (given by the devs) to get away with it speak for itself too.

There's just something satisfying about hitting great skillchecks.
