Am I the only one who wants to see the Teacher make their debut?
As the title says. I'm insanely curious about this scrapped killer and their potential abilities. It isn't exactly impossible as Kate was a scrapped survivor. I believe she was supposed to arrive with Leatherface? I'm unsure where I've seen this and I will try to find the source.
The Teacher could be an interesting way to introduce a new mechanic or quasi game mode into DBD. Imagine being placed in "timeout" and having to solve quizzes until you're freed. It'd be more engaging than tapping X or space to survive.
The Underperform perk is interesting to me as well and I love the icon. Perhaps this perk would have affected skill checks or even reversed them to cause confusion to the player?
Anyways what are your thoughts?

I still wanna know what the Trapple item does (or was supposed to do)

I noticed that too. My brain can't even comprehend a possible use for it. Maybe it's for some sort of puzzle or to eliminate a status effect?

The Teacher became the Nurse later in development, so it’s entirely possible the abilities were mostly the same. Nurse’s Calling could’ve been Eyes In The Back of my Head or something, as teachers are known to see everything in a classroom.

Maybe it was a stun item for survivors, that eventually turned into DS?

I don't care too much about visual aspect of new killers. I only want them to have new, unique abilities instead of using same concept with some tweaks.

No,lets make more speed based killer

I mean, the game got pretty far from the original old slasher inspiration, where literally every job had its killer variant; I don't think it would fit nowadays, but I wouldn't be upset that's for sure.

That makes sense.

Do we really want to villainize educators?
On a side note: isn't Adam a teacher? Why don't we get more teacher apparel for him?

Similar to the pocket knives from Friday the 13th: The Game? I could see that. I'm thinking it might has something to do with countering whatever effects The Teacher might have used on the survivors

Some of his skins are fresh as hell, but he sadly barely get any, same with Claudette who is another favorite of mine.

As fascinated as I am with the character, that's a valid concern.

I want a killer that launches their whole body through the air in a ranged attack.
Like pingpong had a baby with bunny mama.

Like Blanka from Street Fighter 2?

Well the dude is wearing a dunce hat. In the 1800s, students would have to wear them out of embarassment. Maybe if u dcd too much, your character would be forced to wear it in the trials. It would tell everyone else, oh u dcd your last trial. That would be cool

Mathieu said there's something to do with the teacher file.
I think we haven't seen it being used yet

That'd be hilarious

I was thinking maybe a Grimm? Like a giant ass dog that sniffs and jumps. Like demo but with mad ups.

Hopefully they will do something cool with that killer’s release, like do it for the 5th anniversary, or next year’s first killer. Anyway I wonder why the teacher became a killer. Maybe she taught kindergarten and the children were monsters? Or idk.

Like Cujo then?

Yeah, basically. Cujo or the GreatValu™ equivalent.
If the 18 killer doesn't use smell or sight in any special way a big dog would be a fun way to go for it
