Why am i being penalized because of a modder?

Three times now I have been penalized when the killer is the host a dcs to where i am locked out for minutes so why am i the one getting penalized for what the host/killer/modder does?

    What do you mean by you're being penalized for host's actions, can you be more specific?

    When the killer is the host and disconnects it times me out for 5 minutes it has done this 3 times and only when the killer is the host and modding

    The post-game tab displaying someone disconnecting is usually not accurate and doesn't necesarilly reflect the reality. If you get a DC penalty, either one of the following happened:

    1) dc happenned on your side, dbd tracked it and issued a temporary ban (more likely). Post-game tab was just being itself abd showing false stuff as it usually does.

    2) dc validation system bugged (significantly less likely but possible)
