A possible fix to dead hard
After hearing people's concern over the Perk Dead Hard. The main problem with it to killers is that its used for distance and not to dodge an attack. And although I feel its fine I can understand how that can be overpowered. So a possible fix could be to make the dash for distance work when the survivor is in a certain range of the killers. Like If the killer is 2 or 3 meters of the survivor. (I'm a survivor main)

The perk should have a 1-2 second wind-up to it and is unable to be cancelled once initiated.
This way survivors would need to anticipate the precise moment when they would need the temporary invincibility, instead of it being a push of a button.
It would also allow killers to bait and initiate more mind-games into the battle, instead of the current DH which is un-counterable when used optimally.

Dead hard will be "reworked" soon for not be exhausted on the ground.

But the thing about it being used to avoid an attack is that the distance is so little that using it in that way has practically no point to it, although missing an attack as killer than have a big impact, the majority of the time, it doesn't.

It's used to avoid an attack in order to reach another loop and extend the chase by a lengthy period of time. That's the real strength of DH.

Yes, when used for distance, which is what the OP is proposing should be changed despite the fact that the distance is the only useful part of the perk.

I always dead hard into a wall/tree/or exhausted on the ground -.-

I feel DH is fine. Unless you see a survivor use another exhaustion perk just treat it like DS. Assume everyone has it.

It's a hard call. If it didn't give you a distance boost and only negated damage, you'd surely go down in the next hit. And any other status effect like endurance would be just as abusable in practice.

I don’t understand why this needs to be reworked or nerfed. I’m a killer main and they usually get me with it once but after that I think it’s easy to bait them to waste it and down them. Are people suggesting it’s op? Survivors have no weapons, you can’t take away everything from them.

You can go right behind them but not swing. Easy counter.

You can wait until they DH, they might be able to use it once on you but then after that the only way they can use it is for distance. Also as a Dead Hard user myself for as long as I can remember, It works like 60 percent of the time anyways, it isn't reliable all the time.
