Smurfing Run Rampant
Please consider turning back on whatever protection you had against Smurfing prior. To give you an example of how bad it is right now, I tracked the last eleven matches my girlfriend played. She is trying to get into the game but quickly losing interest. In those eleven matches she pulled only three that were Rank appropriate for her. The other eight were ALL Smurfing; see below:
(2) of these matches had 3 Red Ranks
(3) of them had 2 Red Ranks
(3) of them had 1 Red Rank
*In every case I averaged their Ranks to see if that is the issue. It wasn't. The system was clearly choosing her as a Killer based on being within 1-2 Ranks of the weakest Rank on their team. This is become a severe problem. I've talked to a lot of other people who are experiencing the same thing. Eight out of eleven games is statistically significant. I really enjoy playing this game with my girlfriend, but she is burning out fast. I know others are too. Because I'm already a Red Rank Killer I don't run into this, but for those people trying to learn this is a nightmare.

I'm a noob so I don't understand the ranking system but as a level 20 survivor I run i to level 20 killers with all 4 ultra rare perks. Really makes it tough to play. I don't know how people who have clearly hit a higher skill level are allowed to play with completely new players but it happened 4 matches in a row. Fully kitted killer vs 4 newb survivors. Just had to stop playing as much as I would like to. Beyond frustrating.

I do feel a bit bad and the ranking system is pretty trashy in DbD. I have over 2k hours in the game but for the last 2 months I log in maybe once every few days to get dailies done then log off. This puts my killer rank hovering around 6-10 on average and the game places me with lower level survivors.
Usually if I can do my dailies without killing them I try to let people practice loops depending on my mood but I can definitely feel their frustration.
