New Killer Concept

Just a little idea I want to get out there. Please let me know what you think!

Codename: The Shapeshifter

Power: Morphing

Able to take on the appearance of objects on the map, the Shapeshifter can morph itself into any object it interacts with. Upon doing so, the Shapeshifter can position itself anywhere on the map. Then, it is a matter of waiting for the survivors to walk by, and when the time is right, striking at them when they least expect it. Shifting into a locker, if the survivor tries to hide in it, the Shapeshifter morphs back into its' original form, insta-downing the survivor into a grab. The Morphing process can differ in times, depending on how big the object is, and morphing back into its' original form is instant.

Secondary power: Decoys

The Shapeshifter sheds its' skin, and can place decoys of the object it has morphed into around the map. Placing decoys will emit a terror radius, allowing the Shapeshifter to sneak up on unsuspecting survivors. The Morphing process may be increased in time, as the Shapeshifter needs to "recall" its' skin back into its' body. Essentially, the more of its' body it has, the faster it can morph into an object, and less of its' body means a longer morphing time. Decoys are highlighted in yellow. Survivors can get rid of decoys in a process similar to cleansing totems and destroying Demogorgon portals.

Add-ons:

Increased morphing times

Allows more decoys to be placed

Bigger terror radius from decoys

Reflective Skin (Ultra Rare Add-on): Shows the auras of suvivors in a decoy's terror radius for 5 seconds

Iridescent Skin: Allows the Shapeshifter to morph into a survivor, essentially blending in with them, and then striking them when they least expect it. Allows the Shapeshifter to also perform survivor tasks at a REGRESSED speed, (so fixing a gen with another survivor isn't as fast, healing a survivor isn't as fast, etc.), and the progress bar appears normal to the survivor when really it is slower. HAS A COOLDOWN BEFORE IT CAN MORPH INTO A SURVIVOR AGAIN!

Perk 1: Upon losing a survivor in a chase, if the survivor escapes, they are inflicted by the oblivious status effect for 10/20/30 seconds until the killer hits them within that time. In the time the survivor is inflicted with the oblivious status effect, the killer gains the undetectable status effect.

Perk 2: Whenever a killer leaves the area of a hooked survivor, the survivor's progress bar depletes faster. Applies to struggle phase, as well. Staying within the area of a hooked survivor depletes their bar at a SLOWER time. (Much slower than normal. Essentially, an anti-camping perk).

Perk 3: Survivors outside of a killer's terror radius gain their exhaustion back at a slower pace by 10%/20%/30%

Just imagine playing as a survivor unsure of where the killer is with only one gen in your sight, you go to repair it then BAM! It turns into a killer haha that sounds fun.

I think it would be cooler if the killer was a doppelgänger, able to change into other survivors at will. Just make that its main power and forget iridescent add ons.
