Plant Killer?

How about a plant killer with spore-based powers.

Passive: Spores in the air cause Survivors who are not 5m from one another for more than 60 seconds to suffer from depression. At 60 seconds = 5% action penalty, 120 seconds = 10% action penalty, etc.,

The plant can change color, represented as four modes (Red, blue, green, purple).
Channel ability for five seconds to affect a 24 m radius around with spores.

I'm having trouble thinking of some good status effects for each color.

Any ideas?

    Slowing them down would just be a reskinned Clown. Maybe work this Plant Killer like Hag and have them lay down "traps", hard to see flowers that release spores that can help the Killer track Survivors. The spores glitter brightly along the ground, acting like much more visible scratch marks. The red add on could make it so that Survivors can't see the spores trail.

    That might actually be funny. If you had a central mass you could blind, and tentacles to kill survivors.

    i think i would be nice if power isn't a thing that you have to set up but it just develop over time.
    for example

    when running in chase all scratch mark within 4 metres got infected with spores.
    after 10 second they grow and bloom, when survivor is within range of effect(maybe 6 to 4 metres or even less)

    press your active buton ability to change spores effect between:

    Red: survivors have slight penalty to heal and repair for 60 second

    Blue: survivors cannot see any pallets or generators until effect wear off, however they still can interact with them last 20 seconds

    Green: reveal survivors aura for 3 seconds while blinding them(status effect)

    as i think the penalty duration and amplifier are debatable i think we cannot increase aura reading ability time
