A patch required to play?

Ok so we were playing dbd on the xbox one and all of a sudden we were kicked and a message comes up saying *PATCH REQUIRED in order to access this content a patch is required* now I have no updates and I have even hard reset my xbox..... anyone else

    I literally just got that as well, currently doing hard reset because I couldn't find a patch

    I've hard reset my xbox and now there is an option to update the game

    It's only a small 1020kb update

    I can confirm that this is probably the patch for xbox series x people. I restarted my xbox, downloaded the patch, and the game runs fine now. No crashes or freezes

    I'm one regular xbox one, but I'm guessing I got it to so that Crossplay works?

    Nvm just turn it off and on a tiny update starts
