I agree that I think it is silly to shame/grief any Survivor or Killer over their Perk choices. How we build our respective roles is our own business. Calling any Perk a "crutch" is insulting and clearly being a bad sport. I don't like it when people grief Killers over NOED, and I find it equally tiresome to here people complain about DS+Whatever. Killers gonna kill, and Survivors going to survive. They use the tools provided, and insulting or shaming them about it is the behavior of a spoiled, entitled eight year old throwing a tantrum.

I can get around to this idea l. Then we nerf moris and keys and continue on whole game balance and we good.

Well, I don't know about that. I don't really have a problem with Keys or the Mori. To me they are just another aspect of the game. I don't give people grief about using either. If they change them, they change them. If they stay, they stay.

I think what people mean is having like one crutch perk to help out is fine but most survivors fill their whole load out with them and they can do that x4 so killers become punished just trying to play a game

If you look at it killer crutches usually have pretty simple counters like the biggest current one being Noed is countered before it can activate

But ds can be uncounterable with ub or hopping in lockers which means ub becomes uncounterable as well and this can happen 4 times in a game

That’s the big issue the killer has up to 4 crutches while survivors can have 16 that’s why it becomes more annoying

But at the end of the day that’s how people want to play and everyone should do what gives them joy because that’s what video games were made for

They both end the game faster than it should. One can delete a survivor in 2 minutes the other can turn a 4k into a 3e.

Pfft. Noed isn't a crutch - it's merely a sound anti-toxicity perk. I run it all the time on Deathslinger.

You wanna stick around long enough for me to see your teabags in the exit gate? Well okay then...

... I'M GITTIN AT LEAST ONE KILL THIS GAME FELLERS. YEEEHAW!

With all the recent updates it seems as if devs are focusing and making killers stronger with all the annoying perks like being invisible, removing terroe radius sound, being able to blink, being able to throw weapons etc ONTOP OF THEM ALREADY BEING ABLE TO WALK FASTER than survivors even with perks like sprint burst its still a disavdantage for playing survivors! If youre gonna make all the perks for killers then get survivors a perk that enables them to run as fast as the killers to level the playing field!!

I don't call perks crutches in most regards unless someone is only using the best perks. If someone only uses the best perks, then yes, it's very much a crutch, they are compensating for their lack of skill by having OP perk design carry them. If someone only uses one or two though, even if they feel uncomfortable without it, I don't like to call it a crutch, as it's more of a playstyle than anything.

    Ok, deal.

We’ll now call them baby bumpers.

(Just the free second chance ones that cover your mistakes: NOED, DS, Deadhard, Adrenaline...you know the rest).

Quite frankly, the sooner people learn not to give a cats fart in a tin whistle about what other people think, the happier you will be. Turn off the chat if you are easily tilted by someone else getting offended over your loadout and play whatever the heck you want. Who cares if either side thinks your perks are a crutch? You are never going to argue your way into convincing them they aren't so why be bothered? Perks aren't there for us to nervously wring our hands over because we might make someone mad. Same for addons, powers and items.

If you want to play polite and not use powerful addons / perks / items / tactics, go ahead, its your game time at the end of the day, and the same applies if you want to play sweaty as Hulk Hogans gym shorts.

If you have an issue with something in the game, the Devs are the ones to look to, otherwise, posts complaining about perks just inevitably fall down the usual toilet of discussing which side is 'worse' for literally using the games utilities as they are presented to us.

They can call it however they want as long as they eay my ds and dead hard 😉 just relax how some people call your perks or you in general doesn't matter you have yours 4 spot perk build killers have their as well, you have your addon spot killers have too we have good perks so does killers and if someone acts as if u use it because you can't win without it or sum let them be at least it will make them feel better after losing
