Coup de grace while dh still doesn’t work
I‘m a bit surprised that the next chapter will bring a perk that increase the killer Lunge while dead hard is broken...
We are waiting for a fix of dh for months and now they bring a counter for a perk that still not work.
What you think about that? Will dh ever get fixed? And how it works if the killer use coup de grace?

They are fixing Dead Hard, it is one of the Perks which get reworked in the future (probably 6 months or so, if I look at the last batch of Perks) which the main purpose of the Rework to make it work on Dedicated Servers. No idea if they will also change its effect, would be a shame if there would be even less variety in Survivor Builds afterwards, but thats something where we just have to wait.
Regarding Coup de Grace, this Perk was designed under Dedicated Servers, unlike Dead Hard which was designed under P2P (meaning the Killer had 0 Ping). And it is most likely easier to implement something on Dedicated Servers than changing something to work with Dedicated Servers (even tho, it takes them far too long IMO).

I mean, the theory sounded great.
But in the end, the problems with P2P were still present, just hidden (e.g. bad internet connections of Killers are hidden from Survivors, Lagswitching is still possible on both sides) and new ones got introduced (bugged Perks and Killer Powers, grabs broken for months on both ends).
So overall, Dedicated Servers were a step back.

Looking forward to not getting penalised for actually timing Dead Hard properly instead of just throwing it out.

No one believed me, when i said, that dedicated servers are a terrible idea. People just thought, that it would be as any other game which was designed from scratch with dedicated servers in mind. But this game was never intended to have dedicated servers.
Getting rid of lag switchers was the main selling point of dedicated servers. I can´t remember any other selling points for it.

Okay... Just gonna say that Coup de Grace is not a Dead Hard counter and wasn't intended be.

I‘m not sure, but coup de grace gives the killer a extra range for the lunges so it’s similar to dh: a small „jump“ forward. I try to imagine how will it work if a surv use dh and the killer his lunge... will this lunge hit? At the moment a survivor often goes down and is exhausted cause dh doesn’t work. And this situation will get more worse with coup de grace...

Fortunately coup de grace is token based and not unlimited like dh. You'll be ok @ich_häng_mal_rum

Dead hard is broken, and coup de grace in my opinion feels pretty broken considering the killers already get a bloodlust lunge.
