DBD ON PS5
I was lucky enough to get a PS5 this past Thursday, and had taken a long break from DBD. Decided to try out DBD on it because of the technical preformance update. And honestly...it feels like an actual game now! There were so many framedrops on PS4, some killers near unplayable. But after playing it again for a couple days I had zero frame drops. Not even on a killer like Blight. Nicely done devs, it has made me enjoy the game much more after such a long break 😺

"Nicely done devs" yeah, it's the dev's tremendous skill that made a 2016 game playable on a 2020 top tier console, nothing to do with ps5 hardware.

Trying to give credit where it is due, they had a 30GB update for it on PS5, I have given my fair share of criticism to devs before.

Can you see who the killer is in lobby by using the “Currently Playing With” feature on PS5 like we used to be able to do on PS4 before the change last year that disabled it?
or is there any other PS5 exclusive feature that lets you see who the killer is if their profile is public?

Pretty sure that being able to see who plays as the killer got removed as a whole because of the addition of dedicated servers.
So i don't think PS5 players cam see who plays the killer either

I’m loving it on PS5.
I already felt competent as survivor, and good as killer on PS4. But now without the performance dips I feel like my skill has improved ten fold. I.e. I knew performance dips were handicapping me on PS4, but I didn’t realise just how MUCH it was handicapping me until playing this game on PS5.
It’s such a joy to play this game now. No more sudden disorientation.

The currently playing with/recently played with feature seems to be buggy on PS5.

Same, except I switched from ps4 to pc. Apart from auto-aim now every time I miss a hit it's actually my fault, it feels great

Yeah, I figured that was why. Wasn’t sure if PS5 had a built in tech that was able to bypass that or not. Not necessary, but it would be nice.

Aw, hopefully that feature will end up intact, sometimes I like to check who’s who as far as killers go. Won’t be getting my PS5 til next year anyway, but it’s such a sweet setup an I jus love talking about it!
