Play dbd together same house 2 consoles on xbox?
Im really hoping someone can help me. My gf and I love this game and just got a Series X solely to be able to play together. Two separate accounts, one on series x and another on xbox one but it's saying "someone is currently playing" end session etc. Any and all suggestions welcome. There has to be a way around this I'm assuming if it was PS and xbox it wouldn't happen? What if it's a different internet connection like using a 4G hotspot? Thanks guys, whoever can help me out I'll push good vibes into the universe forever for you.

You should be able to, I did this with my roommates all the time. I was always able to do this as long as our NAT type was 'Open'. We were all wired besides one of us if that helps.

So I was able to actually get past that screen that says fei is playing elsewhere by logging her out on the Xbox one. Lost all saved progress on xbox one (it's saved on series X) but if this works idc. Went to invite her to a game and it won't let me. I click friend list I can view her profile but I can't click invite to party. Read somewhere it's because of status offline?

Try going online and resetting both consoles. If that does't work then maybe its a bug with the Series X/S. I've never had any issues before so this is new to me.

We got it to work I logged her off on xbox one and it worked. Lost all saved progress tho on my account, it's all on hers. Is there a way around that?
