Draft Concepts

These are some concepts I've made but haven't fleshed out. These were mainly ones that were requested. These WILL NOT be good concepts. These are just some drafts that I had written for people. These are only killers powers. Tell me if there are any youd like to see fleshed out!

The Cenobite (Pinhead)

The Cenobites ability: Wrath of the Cenobites

Chains:

The Cenobite (here on i will refer to him as Pinhead) does not have a normal attack, instead he has a ranged attack, stretching 2-4 meters infront of him (range based on charge). This chain can go through windows. The downside to this is that the chain has a very small hit box and takes a moment to charge.

Labyrinth:

1/3 of all hooks in a match have a blue aura when picking up a survivor. These hooks cannot be sabotaged. When hooking a survivor on these hooks, they are sent to a labyrinth. When in the labyrinth, survivors must run through a pathway while being chased by a Cenobite (perks are viable in the labyrinth, including Sprint Burst) The pathway bends and is like a labyrinth. Eventually, after about 20 seconds of running the will come across a portal that sends them back into the trial. If they are caught by the Cenobite chasing them, (the Cenobite moves slightly slower than the survivor, but increases in speed the more time survivors are in the labyrinth (each 5 seconds it increases in speed by 10%, starting 10% slower, then the same, then faster)) the Cenobite sends them back to the trial broken for 120 seconds the killer has killer instinct for 10 seconds. When exiting the labyrinth in any way, the survivor spawns furthest away from the killer as they can. If hooked on a Labyrinth hook, perks surrounding being hooked to not activate (Decisive, BBQ, so on). The survivor can be hooked on Labyrinth hooks 2 times. At the 3rd time they are sacrificed normally. If the survivor is the last in the trial and is hooked on a labyrinth hook, they are sent to the labyrinth and get a special mori from the Cenobite.

The Creeper (Jeepers Creepers)

The Creepers Ability: Hunt, Kill, Evolve

The Creeper has 3 abilities

Gain the Flesh: When hitting a survivor, gain a token. Until that token is lost, you cannot gain any other tokens from that survivor. When you get 4 tokens, you can spend them to upgrade an ability. Upgraded abilities have different effects. Tokens can only be gained from healthy survivors.

Taste of Fear: When chasing a survivor, a bar goes around their head (similar to gf) and once that bar is complete, they are at max fear. If you hit them, their fear meter turns red. When the fear meter is red the survivor suffers from the terrified status effect. When terrified, survivors will scream periodically while in chase. They also get -5% to all actions, with great skill check zones reduced by 100%. When withing 8 meters of another survivor, the fear meter goes down, when the fear meter is gone the survivor is no longer terrified.

Upgraded Taste of Fear: (Space) Survivors now instead of leaving scratch marks, leave fear trails, which are floating red particles that last significantly longer than scratch marks, and are more reliable.

Bat From Hell: Pressing lctrl triggers Bat From Hell. Fly up into the air, up to a certain height, gaining almost full veiw of the map. (Like nurses blink how it's unmarked where, you just have to memorize or use addons to see your landing location) Click M1 to fly to selected area, which takes about 2 seconds. Bat From Hell has a cool down of 60 seconds. Survivors get an audio cue when Bat From Hell is activated. They can also see you.

Upgraded Bat From Hell: (lctrl) Bat From Hell now has a cooldown of 45 seconds, and survivors auras can be seen when using Bat From Hell.

Whistle of Fear: Press M2 to trigger Whistle of Fear. For 20 seconds your terror radius is reduced by 32 meters, and is replaced by a Lullaby (the Jeepers Creepers song but whistled). Your movement speed is decreased to 4.0, and all injured survivors have their aura revealed to you within 32 meters. Whistle of Fear has a 30 second cooldown but is not displayed.

Upgraded Whistle of Fear: Movement is increased to 4.2, and all gens not being worked on are blocked by the entity.

(Yes is know the whole pedo thing about Jeepers Creepers, but its just a concept. Please dont leave a concept saying "Oh Jeepers Creepers won't happen because pedo stuff.")

The Brute: (Jason Vorhees)

The Brutes power: Whatever At Hand

Around the map are different weapons on pedestals. An axe, a knife, an ice pick, and a machete. Each weapon activates a different power when held.

Axe: M1 Attacks can now break through pallets and breakable walls (think oni). If a survivor is behind a breakable wall, the Axe goes right through the wall hitting the survivor. His terror radius is reduced by 8 meters when holding the Axe. He has a slightly increased lunge.

Knife: Terror radius is reduced by 12 meters. You can press M2 while holding the knife to throw it. If it hits a survivor, it injures them, and the knife is given back to you. If it misses you have to pick it up in 30 seconds or it returns to its pedestal.

Ice Pick: When holding this weapon, a survivor becomes the obsession. If that survivor is hit with the Ice Pick, they are instantly downed. When the obsession is downed, it switches to the survivor furthest away from you.

Machete: Gain the ability to teleport. When holding the machete, press lctrl to create fog in our terror radius. The fog is very thick and survivors cannot see through it, and you have a terror radius of 8 meters inside of it. Pressing lctrl in the fog teleports you near a survivor in the fog. This  teleportation has a cool down of 20 seconds.  You can create fog at any time, but it takes a charging time, and cannot be used in a chase, and your previous fog goes away.

The Slenderman

Slenders Power: Take Away

You start in a ream, similar to spirits. You move at 4.8 in the realm, while out of the realm you move at 4.4 ONLY while you are in the realm, you see the aura of a survivor. This survivor is the victim. The survivor will know if their aura can be read because their screen will be filled with static as The Slenderman gets closer. While the Slenderman is in the realm, you cant see the survivors. To exit (m1), you strike a slightly costly animation, then have 30 seconds until you get sent back into the realm.

(If you are carrying a survivor, you cannot be sent back into the realm, if you are mori-ing, and other such actions you cannot be sent back into the realm.)

If you hook a survivor that was a victim, the victim switches to the survivor farthest away from you.

Pages:

There are 7 pages scattered through the map. Usually in the main building, killer shack, basement, and so on. The slender man can teleport to these pages when in the realm (like demos portals except you use m2). The survivors can disable these pages with an animation that lasts about 20 seconds. When the pages are removed, if The Slenderman is in the realm, he gets a loud sound notification, and the survivor who removed the page becomes the victim.

The Slenderman can disable his terror radius to other survivors at will (ctrl), at the cost of having his aura seen by the victim, and everyone in 8 meters of the victim.

Ok that's some concepts I had lying around. Any ones you want to see made into a full concept? Please do let me know! I love feedback from you guys! You are all great! Happy Gaming!

i only watched Jeepers Creepers and don’t know the Movies/Storys of the others (except Jason vs Freddy)..

    Pinhead:

the labyrinth seems a little bit too much for it to be a power, with a separate map and KI. I would also make it more conditional like PHs cages instead of randomly assigning hooks.

    Jason:

Solid and fitting power, enough different weapons so the basic powers don’t feel too boring. Fits Jason and the slasher genre in general. What would his standard weapon be?

    Jeepers Creepers:

i like the concepts, need obviously more fine tuning but thematically fitting. The flying one may be problematic especially on indoor maps. The devs said they tried and stopped with a flying power.

also: I think the Creeper would deserve a spot. It’s a shame such a despicable human being can turn something many people worked on so foul.

    Slenderman:

Cant really get a grasp of this and I don’t know/not interested in Slenderman really. But do the pages gespawn?

Ty for the feedback! To answer some questions, I forgot to mention but Jason can still use his bare hands, but they have a decreased lunge and is just a normal M1.

The pages do not respawn, and I 100% agree with the complications with the Slenderman concept in general. That one had a few issues when making it, and it is very weak and convoluted.

    I like them a lot :)

Pinhead is really fitting. @Mooks is right tho. The whole power map is a little bit too much. The power should weave the hooks a little bit more perhaps, is something original that no killer ever did in DBD.

Jason if possible is even more faithful to the original but maybe the power would be too much scattered around. It is really good anyways! Snipe teleport with 20second cd is pretty busted tho lol.

I don't know the creeper so i can't really tell. i found this power too crowded of effects.

Slenderman is my favorite character of the four. But his power needs a rework i think. I can imagine a 4 men swf with the victim running away from their teammates leaving them free to slam every generator. They cannot even predict you teleports so they would not even bother to destroy the pages. I think that as it is now, sleder would be a prisoner of his real for the whole match. I think that he also should generate thick fog :) that jason power is so neat!

I look forward to see more of your Pinhead and Slenderman! i like your ideas for them

Ty for your feedback! If you want to see my other concepts, I'm sure you would like them too. These were sidenote drafts.
