time to deactivate CP
Just a question, do you also have these survivor in your games? sitting somewhere? even when there is no heartbeat. the survivor got chased and is even the obsession (means the sitting survivor can see that she gets chased) but we all know that is not a CP issue, its the "everyone is a rank1 nowadays" issue.
please someone end my suffering with these solos, i cant handle it anymore.

Most people can't handle these kind of situations. That's one of the reasons swf has been getting more and more popular.

”CP” is uh, an interesting choice to use
but yea, during the day when queues are fine I keep it off and don’t even bother playing survivor at night, yet alone as a Solo, the game is so unbearable without a friend

Fun fact: the platform people play on is not indicative of how good they are at the game.
If you have crossplay on, I would presume you have a much higher chance of getting average players from all platforms, giving you an average gaming experience with such matches thrown about here or there. Being really easy or hard. However given the posts I have seen on people who turn it off, without crossplay I would make the assumption you will be more likely to be thrown to either of the extremes, given that crossplay is disabled by really sweaty players, or by people who are bad and blame it on other platforms.

Uh.. this was just as common before crossplay was a thing. This is a thing even in my SWF. I ask what the hell they're doing. They say they don't know.

As it should.

It's funny how before crossplay my ps4 red rank lobbies had a potato maybe every few days. So are you claiming all the potato survivors come from xbox or switch, two of the smallest player bases of the game?
It's funny how Otzdarva's matches were full of potatoes/paid actors even before crossplay. All on PC "master race".
It's funny how you blame only console players for your success when the problem very likely is you yourself.
Maybe it's time for you to find what you are doing wrong yourself and get better at the game instead of blaming others without any kind proof.

Its a problem of the Rank Reset. Players dont get set back at all, if you were Rank 4 before Rank reset, you get set back 1 Rank, which is not even a Reset.
Before, you had quite good games during the first 3 weeks after Rank Reset, close before Rank Reset you had worse games, because the not so good players ended up in Red Ranks. Now they are Red Rank basically instantly.
This goes for both sides, the number of bad Survivors and bad Killers increased a lot over the past months.
And what was the reason for the change of the Rank Reset? Because players who dont play much cannot achieve the same things like players who play more. Yep. That was the reason. Something which is the case in every Onlinegame. Great, eh?

if im not mistaken you telling me im the problem? the guy who is doing atleast 2-3 gens every match. runs the killer atleast for 2-3 minutes every match. but the guy who is just stting somehwere in the corner is the hero? oh lord. i wont even bother to start a discussion with you. you're right mate.

Yeah, the change to rank reset was one of the most stupid and pointless changes they've done so far.
Now it's so incredibly easy to get to high ranks and stay there.
Dead by Daylight is the only game i've seen so far that makes it that easy to get to the "Highest Level/Rank"

Off topic but it's weird seeing a purple Q&Q

Oh they mean Cross Play, CP usually means something A LOT Darker and illegal.

My comment wasn't for you, it was for the forum member I quoted, obviously. That forum member trash talks console players at every possible opportunity and has said in the past that console players are vegetables, for example.
You didn't say anywhere in your post that your problem is specifically with console players and didn't talk condescendingly about anyone so I have no problem with you.
Hopefully they fix the matchmaking so boosted players, both killers and survivors, goes to the rank they belong.

No never happens to me. Everyone in my solo games is always being extremely productive and is an asset to the team.

My second favorite is when the person being chased runs the killer back to the hooked survivor...

tofu pointed this out when they changed rankreset and now were at the point even the biggest scaredy urban evading claudette can be rank 1 by just sitting in a corner

While kindred wouldn't have helped this situation, it will generally make solo q much more bearable.

Oh man, just wait till you see uncommon STBFL

I've had multiple red ranks UE towards the hook and let me go in to struggle or just hide and not do anything with my Kindred active this week.
It's either boosted SWF players or perhaps devs are padding ranks with bots.

I can definitely say, every single game I play with console players goes badly. Statistically speaking, you are wrong. Player base was much smarter before Cross Play. But its all a coincidence, right?

Let's be honest there are potatoes on every system I play DBD on Console and Pc. I attribute this to SWF. Most of the time these guys play they have friends calling out to them giving them instructions. They rank up and get left in higher lobbies and when they want to play and there friends aren't on this happens.

Yeah i was like what the ######### lol

Show me these statistics. I'd love to see them.

I have to turn it off sometimes.
Idk why but the majority of the survivors I meet in cross play have potato tendencies.
Like, I’m not even talking lasting in a chase for 10 seconds. I’m talking about crouching to come unhook me only to turn around (while still crouch walking) and letting me go to phase two. 😬

This isn't new to crossplay.

You know, the funny thing is that I've seen someone from almost every single console say this. With the exception of maybe Switch but I haven't met anyone who plays on Switch. They probably don't exist. (JK jk)
I don't attribute this to cross play. I attribute it to people simply being unsure. As a Survivor, I'm constantly unsure of what I should be doing. I'm wondering if it's worth it to risk leaving this gen to go unhook. Should I prioritize finding a heal or gens? Should I try to find the Ruin totem or just suck it up and do the gens?
I think we need to focus less on the fact that we have people from other consoles in our lobbies, and more on the education that this game sorely lacks. There's no real way for people to learn in game. We need an offline training mode, for both Survivor and Killer, and we need to fix matchmaking.

There are times where you wonder what the heck some people are doing, but whenever I've had Kindred in my build there is much better co-ordination and never have noted "potatoes", even at lower ranks.
It feels more about being a bit more empathetic as to what someone is doing. Do they think someone is nearer? Are they almost completing a gen? It's just as frustrating watching everyone charge to my aid; effectively making it a dumb idea for a killer to leave the vicinity and most likely sealing my fate.
I currently use cross-play. Whether I've been on cross-play or not the same situations arise. It's best to focus much less on what everyone else is doing and think more about how you were hooked in the first place. You can't control anything other than your own performance, so just chalk up what you could've done better and learn from it.
