The devs really like making challenges that are next to impossible for casual players huh?
How is anyone who doesn't main hillbilly supposed to get this without purposefully deranking? I could understand if this was a challenge during the double charge add-on days but it isn't, even if they just made it a regular challenge as opposed to a master challenge this would be so much better.

I haven’t actually seen the new tome level yet. Is this a mandatory challenge? I.e. one that has to be completed. Or is it optional? I mean either way I agree, it’s insanely stupid. I’m not nearly good enough at billy to get 7 chainsaw hits in a single match, maybe 4-5 but not 7.

Because those are CHALLENGES. They should take some effort.
If someone does not want to do it on a regular way, farming is always an option. In the end, you dont need to do this challenge, it is completely possible to do the Tome Level without having to do this Challenge.

Like, whenever new content is added, people complain and make a big drama out of nothing. In the end, if you cannot do that Challenge, those are 50k BPs and 5 Rift Fragments you miss out.

Hiya! Red rank blah blah hours killer here. But I have played almost no billy, the way I did this was using the speed limiter. If you REALLY struggle with this one you can always farm with survivors to get it easier.

100% optional, you have another Killer-route right above it (and the Survivor-route as well).

Nah, 7 chainsaw hits seems at least possible in a regular match.
If it was a Killer equivalent of Dwight The Brave? then maybe.

These "challenges" were the devs answer to not having to do blood hunt events all the time. As such the challenges should be a little bit more forgiving considering that the game is nothing but a grind fest.

I think you have to take this difficult challenge and just try to enjoy attempting to beat it. It is optional and the alternative is to play lots of normal games to get the equivalent in rift progress. At least it's not the infamous Dwight the Brave or the sacrifice all 4 survivors in the basement challenge. There have been worse.
Many of us are going to be better Hillbilly players after this Tome!

Thanks for the info, I’m studying atm and can’t play the game. I guess it’s not so bad then. I mean it’s still kinda dumb that I either have to farm or throw the game to just go for chainsaws all game to get this. It can be pretty hard to get the rift finished on time unless you play the game 24/7 so potentially missing out on challenges really sucks but oh well. It’s not the end of the world, lol.

thing is most survivor anyone don't like farming so finding match like this is impossible still stuck on the chainsaw 2 in 30 sec from each other one.
I think they asking is it mandatory challenge to get the lore and it is (unlock a man called boy.) ( know it a CHALLENGES but 7 is bit much I mean 6 is pushing it.

Wish people would try to look at things in the positive light more. Here check out my Billy example before all the nerf/changes/reworks/ whatever you want to say when I used him I never used his chainsaw I ran around and used his hammer and won games I always thought he was faster than other killers. Obviously I can't do that now and when the first chainsaw challenge came in toe one I was like OH crap but it gave me the opportunity to get better with a very good killer and guess what when the next challenge came got it first try. I would have never tried to get better with his chainsaw if it werent for these CHALLENGES yes they are called CHALLENGES not hey here is easy fragments and BP thanks for playing.

I know I might seem somewhat biased since I am a Billy main, but is it really that hard to get 7 chainsaws? If you aren't that good at it, here are a few things I'll recommend.
Infectious Fright (might take a few games)
Speed Limiter (i dont think you need this that badly)
Farming (only if everyone agrees, otherwise it is against the rules, would only recommend as a last resort)
Extreme slowdown perks (Can help with getting more time to land the chainsaws)
Yellow and brown overheat add-ons (help to spam the saw more and land it)
I don't really see how this is a challenge that requires you to be an good billy, I doubt it's that difficult.

Eh, Its not that hard. If you dont want to put some effort into it just convince a random group of survivors to farm with you.

It's against the rules to force people into farming, it's something that you can only do with someone if they agree to do it. If you're forcing people into it, then it is bannable, but I've never seen someone get banned for just farming when everyone was ok with it.

have you seen some one banned when someone wasn't agree to do it? the fact also is you can't really tell if someone doesn't want to farm either.
how this we farm or I slug you all let you all bleed out which you pick?

I don't think there's that many cases of people refusing since it's so rare in the first place, and I don't do that much research into the topic so I'm not sure someone has ever been banned for it. Forcing could be like sandbagging or getting your teammates killed because they refused to farm, or one of the examples you chose. Overall, if someone refuses to farm, it's better to just play normally.

sounds more like survivor ban then anything because the killer can't tell anyway playing normally killer meant to kill and if killer letting someone go I can't see that being bannable or letting them all go.
farming better then being slug camped tunneled mori'ed anyway I play both side I don't mind farm on either side but it is rare.

That said for somebody who's hand-eye cordination doesn't just crash the second they rev a chainsaw this should be doable right?

Without effort? Is the money we shell out for DLC, battle passes, and skins not enough? The game doesn't run like a well oiled machine. You can't work hard for something when the "job" at hand doesn't pass safety inspection.

this level is so survivor sided it's not even funny. the first challenge on the killer match is minimum 3 matches, upto 12 or more depending on the player. first survivor challenge is 1-2 matches in general but could be more. and survivors don't even have to contend with a 15 emblem requirement, they aren't even required to take a single master challenge to get to the epilogue. then players like myself can't get 4 chain saw hits in a match, can never do this unless people give us the hits. last one was a second chainsaw hit in 30 seconds. was a GREAT challenge. hell I can't even hit one player on blight while rushing! much less chain 7 together and hit the player at the end of that! this I agree they should be a bit easier but not too easier.... 4 or 5 would be a hefty challenge for me. i'll be stuck at 15 gold emblems for a while anyways YEA!

Lmao. One of the first challenges for Level 3 is "Throw a rock 2 times using the perk Diversion". Should have been in Level 1.

That's a pretty normal Billy trial for me, and I neither main Billy or am particularly good with him. Just run around sawing people and, if you truly are a casual player, you won't care if you pip or depip. If you aren't so casual, well, just do it anyway and you'll have gotten the challenge out of the way one way or another.

It's not impossible. Use perks like discordance, infectious fright, nurse's calling and deerstalker. If you wanna be safe put on speed limiter. You don't have to win just get the challenge done. If all 4 go down before you get it,pick one of them up but pretend getting stuck on your way to the hook so he'll wiggle off. Edit : that challenge used to be x10, so it's already better

I think these challenges are why there are so many farming games lately. I was away from this game for months and just came back a couple weeks ago. I am shocked by how often killers are farming. It's a third or more of my games sometimes. But when the Tome is so grindy and half the challenges are killer while most people play survivor, welp, there you have it.

I struggled using old Billy so new Billy hasn't been my favourite to play. Guess I'm running a full slowdown Billy then.

true and that one leads to the adam escapes then to the 15 gold emblems and the killer track. so i'm not upset at those as much as i am the other track going all standard challenges to get directly to the epilogue vice the killers having to go through one master challenge and the sheer number of survivor challenges...over all ah well it is what it is.
