friend requests not working

I play dead by daylight on steam and ps4, and when im on dbd pc with steam my friend cannot accept the friend requests they send me and they are also unable to send me a friend request. While on ps4, I'm able to add and accept any friend requests. This occurs every time we try to send each other a request. I even tried to change my username, but that did not help.

Sending a friend request works on both platforms, but it refuses to accept the invitation. we were friends but then it bugged out and we couldn't join each others lobbys, and now it won't even let us accept the friend requests for each other.

Did you create a bhvr account? If you linked your Steam account to a Bhvr account your crossplay friends list is bugged and you cannot add or accept invites from them. There is no update on this issue currently and it's been like this for over a month now.

Yeah whoever is on PC with the Bhvr account isn't going to be able to play with you until Bhvr patches the friends list bug with PC/Stadia players. I play on PC and haven't been able to play with friends on other platforms for over a month now and Bhvr support has no ETA on when it will be fixed. Whoever is playing on PC will have to unlink their Bhvr account if you want to play again but forewarning that it will reset the PC player's account to progression back before you linked (losing all progress) and they will lose auric cells and bloodpoints. If you do it now before it's too late it won't be as big of a hit to your progress in the rift and what not.

Would LOVE to hear about a fix for this. It's been long enough for a multiplayer game to NOT have the ability to play with people. This is, once again, just stupid!

It is stupid I agree. Wish we could play this multiplayer game the way it was suppose to work.

Same here. Can't join my friends to play together and if it happens to work for one match we get separated after the match and it won't work again its very frustrating.

BHVR emailed me this morning and said they fixed the cross play issue! Just restart your game and you should be able to re-add your console friends on PC and vice versa.
