The Winter Solstice
So as most of us know, the Winter Solstice was the winter event that we would get starting from mid December and ending sometime at the beginning of January. It wasn't anything big, just a nice, snowy lobby with a banger theme, cheap mystery boxes with good rewards and some festive lights in the trial, usually accompanied with a bloodhunt.
However, last year there was none of that. And if rumors are true then it seems it won't be back for this year too, which is rather unfortunate. Winter events are some of the best events in games and dbd had such a simple, but nice event. So I ask, why isn't it returning despite being something so simple to add?
Is it to improve the game? Work on more important things? Fix bugs? I mean, those are all very valid reasons, but how hard is it really to change the background lobby and music? How time consuming could it be to add the mystery boxes and winter party starters which are already in the code? The lights I could understand since there are new hooks and new textures etc. But I mean, just changing the lobby would be nice.
So devs, CM, or anyone on the team, if you're reading this, please consider bringing us the Winter Solstice back. I'm sure many players miss it and there are some who never actually got to experience it, so please consider bringing it back this year. I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it. I really hope they do it. It's a really special event to me because it's when I started playing the game.

I made a thread suggesting a christmas event. I'm too lazy to type out the whole thing here so if you want to see it you'll have to go through my post history but everyone seemed to love the idea of the event.
Sadly it got moved to feedback, where all posts go to die. So it kind of died when it was starting to get a large amount of attention.
