Hot Take: If Bloodlust is being disabled so should 4%
Before anyone attacks me I have no problem with BL being disabled for now. I’ve just seen people call it a crutch, unfun, boring, and having no counter play.
So I thought what about 4%ing? Some see it at a crutch, unfun, boring, and it having no counter play either. What if 4% off the hook was disabled too as a fair trade for BL?
Yes I know it’s a test and not final I just want to see people’s opinions :)

I wouldn't mind it. I don't count on 4% in any of my games so

But without the possible 4% what am I supposed to do on the hook? Just hang there? Gambling for that self-unhook is one of the funnest parts of playing survivor.

That's not even remotely comparable.
4% is just that. A 4% chance to escape. You have 0 input on whether or not you'll get it (unless you stack offerings with friends). The chance is so minuscule that people either attempt it because A) they're trying to die. B) there is literally no other option. (Plus, Deliverance but that's not really 4% at that point)
Bloodlust is a mechanic that the killer can abuse just by not kicking a pallet and staying in chase.
Whether you think one/both should be removed is irrelevant. They're not really comparable to each other.

One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. This is such a massive stretch. The "counter" to unhooking yourself is that ninety ****ing six percent of the time it doesn't work and makes the second hook stage shorter.

This content has been removed.

It won't really affect games much just make some games less annoying so who really cares.
Just like removing bloodlust lol

Does that include the complete removal of self-unhooking unless you have Deliverance?
Or do you just 100% fail every attempt?
Cause if you can't even try anymore, that means no more camp-signaling.

I support changing how kobe-ing works, but that isn't really comparable to removing Bloodlust IMO.

I disagree and if anything the 4%ers just help the killer most of the time. I have yet to find anyone who actually whines about 4%. People's problem is more that people do it when they could be saved and thus hurt their team. When it is done at the right time, it's still probably not going to do anything even if you stack all the best luck offerings with slippery meat to boot. Most of these "well you should disable x on survivor side' is just pettiness instead of an actual argument for it.

Bloodlust is band-aid from introduced when maps were way more survivor sided, self-unhooking is a mechanic that gives hope when everything seems lost. They are in no way comparable.
