Victor Changes are Half of a Fix

So it's better, don't get me wrong. But the survivors being able to take your power hostage for 45 seconds before they're revealed is not much of a buff. The locker change is VERY welcome, but still doesn't do much to help this struggling killer concept.

I'd say the survivor should be revealed after 10 seconds and if they don't remove Victor after 45 seconds they should be downed, timer paused during chase.

45 secs before being able to recall Victor is way too long. 45 secs is most of a generator in this game. I don't think they understand just how important time is. Given everything else they have done with the killer I think they intend you to make sure Charlotte and Victor are always close to each other. If that is the case why a 45 sec wait time to get Victor back?

The Twins are really weak right now. The locker fix is welcome but should have never been the case from the beginning, the exit blocker is welcome but should have never been the case, the Victor recall is welcomed but should have never been the case. So many of the problems with the new killer belie the developers understanding of the game. And the fact they are putting out the new content half baked is embarrassing. They need to cool their jets. We don't need new content. We need the content we have to work and we need them to actually spend time on this content to make it worth while.

It’s an interesting idea. I lean towards a shorter timer but we’ll see. Victor seems quite strong as it is with these changes

  • I also feel 45 seconds is too long. The fact that a survivor would rather keep it on as long as possible on it's own indicates a problem.

I’m curious as to what factors the devs considered that led them to decide on 45 seconds?

I mean, I agree with everyone. 45 seconds is way too long. Why do the devs think 45 seconds is ok? Not a criticism. I just want to understand their reasons.

Maybe slow a survivor down a bit while victor is in their back? It just seems having a ghoulie gremlin on your back would be distracting and make it difficult to move about

It takes 8 seconds to crush victor while he's riding a survivor. Even if the goal is to make it so that the survivor with victor only reveals the survivors around them... why allow them to keep victor (the killers power) for 45 seconds before revealing his aura and allowing the killer to recall him?

If anything, his aura should be revealed to Charlotte no matter the moment he's holding a locker shut, or riding a survivor. If they want to incentivize survivors to rid themselves of him, he needs to give Charlotte that information from the moment he attaches himself to them on top of restricting the survivor from doing objectives or revealing their teammate's locations. Why the actual F are they delaying this incentive to 45 seconds?

Also, Victor should hold a locker closed indefinitely, but when he does the aura of the locker should be revealed to both the killer and the other survivors on their team in order to create a "Race against time" minigame, wherein either a survivor rescues their ally in the locker, or Charlotte Claims the present Victor just giftwrapped for her. This whole "Victor will be able to interact with lockers and hold a Survivor inside for a short amount of time." idea is pathetic, encourages no teamwork dynamic from the survivors, as well as ensures that the killer will only want to use Victor as long as he remains within a close distance.

I'm likewise concerned about what Victors movement speed will be when he has a pounce charged and ready, because if it's anything less than 4.2 m/s, he'll still be useless against a survivor kiting him around an object.

Overall, I've decided that I'm not getting this killer unless they fix them decently by the mid chapter, otherwise, its a horrible waste of time/money.
