Please, for Christ sake, give us a dedicated “blocks aura while healing” perk!!!
Is anybody else sick to death of Nurses Calling?!
Is anybody else pretty much seeing it almost every damn match?!?!
Sure, we have 3 aura blocking perks, but they really don’t help much against the ultra annoying Nurses Calling.
Distortion: 3 tokens. You might burn one healing a team mate, which was a waste of a token because THEIR aura is still being shown. All you can do is leg it and hope the “no scratch marks” saves your butt. And in the end, tokens might be burned so quickly that when it’s most crucial to self heal, when you need a token is probably when they’re all gone.
Off the record: granted that this is great if healing is only worried about after being unhooked. But it runs into the same problem of if needing to be healed by a team mate, their aura will still give you both away anyway.
Sole Survivor: this doesn’t start helping against Nurses until it’s acquired 2 tokens. 2 dead team mates isn’t good. And again, won’t block the aura of whoever is healing you, or whoever you’re healing.
I really get ticked off by Nurses Calling, because there’s little that can be done against it, other than being lucky enough that the killer had a 32m TR, and know to stop healing the moment you hear the heartbeat.
Please please please, give survivors something that restrict aura blocking to JUST the healing action, and have its aura blocking effect extend to whoever you are healing, or whomever is healing you.
Please. Geez...

might as well call the perk "blendette's uselessness" while we're at it.
You could always just run inner strength, but that would require actually doing bones of course.

Yes, sick of Nurse’s. But more suck of Adrenaline, DS, BT(only the people that abuse it to tunnel themselves when a bad teammate rushes hook while in chase), I mean...one or two meta killer perks I can handle as opposed to 12 or so survivor metas as a killer.
Edit:
Distortion will inform you IF the killer has the perk, allowing you to play around it afterwards. If you make this mistake repetitively after learning the killer has it, on you IMO.

If anything, I feel like Distortion needs a way to earn tokens back. Unhooks, maybe staying in a killers TR, like Detectives Hunch and pebble.
As for a specific no aura when healing perk... I don't think there are any perks like this, I think they avoid giving a aura blocking perks to Survs that don't require a ton of work for some reason. Not sure why though.
General tips I would give you is heal near a pallet, and keep a look out for any stealth killers. Spine Chill is a great way to tell if a killer is headed for you, and it's pretty damn good perk in general.

You didn’t read...

Yeah, I’ll just run inner strength and get injured Jeff to jump into the locker with me...

How about not healing in the terror radius? There is your perk... It's free...it doesn't need a perk slot.

I already said that the only way to play around it is if being lucky enough that the killer has 32m TR. otherwise they’ve already seen you by the time the survivor knows they’re coming.

I read my friend. Doesn’t take long to learn if a killer has this perk. Now just play outside the TR when healing.
Stealth or small TR killer? Use Spine Chill for this if it’s such a pressing issue. I’m sorry mate, I cannot see how I’ll be convinced this isn’t operator error.
I mean, killers are playing around perks survivors use in almost every match, it’s expected.
So vice versa, you should be playing around the killer’s perks.

or maybe.... don't worry about injured jeff so much then? If your concern is about injured jeff causing the killer to find you because you're healing them then don't drop everything to stick to healing injured jeff? If you are healing him and hear the TR, stop healing for a moment and see if the TR gets louder, then run a distraction for him if you're sure the killer is coming. Hell, run spine chill if you're sick of being unsure if the killer even saw your aura in the time before you were able to react.
I'll never understand why survivors get so paranoid about short term auras like this and undying: They frequently are activated and deactivated before the killer even has a chance to see you, unless you're sitting there continuing to heal in the TR and ignoring it. Killers don't walk around constantly 360ing to make sure they get the full benefit from every aura proc.

hard countering a killer perk with a survivor perk sounds like an awful idea you are going to need to get pretty creative to make a perk that does this well

I never see that perk anymore unless its a Nurse. All I see is corrupt, ruin, undying, noed, BBQ, bamboozle, STBFL, pop these days

Use your common sense and don't heal in tr

You still didn’t read...
I already know to stop if it’s a 32m TR killer.
Anybody else means it’s already too late by the time the TR is heard.

#########, who runs Nurse's in 2020? It's only good on like 4 killers. Just heal in loops no in a basement or corners of a map...

Gonna be honest mate I don't think I've ever saw anyone complain about Nurse's Calling before.
Genuinely thought you were joking for a minute.

I was serious.
I was extra salty after an extended play session of seeing NC almost every single bloody match, on lots of indoor maps.

Well I wish I had your luck and got Nurse's that often. That just means there is one less gen guarding/chase perk to go against.

Just out of curiosity, were you facing Oni repeatedly because Nurse's is pretty good on him. If it's not Oni, did they have any altruism encouraging perks like Thanatophobia or maybe even Blood Echo?
