Drop it earlier.

The worst offender for this is Ghostface. I swear, sub 30 ms games where I'll stun his before his weapon is even raised and I'll still get hit. Must be something to do with the timing of his animation + his short height or something.

Using the vault build I cleared the window animation was finished and I STILL got hit through the window..

Simple answer, latency. On their screen, the killer is closer then they are on yours.
long answer, I don't have a single ######### clue. There have been times where I, as a killer will go "That shouldn'tve hit." You know it's bad when even on the killer's screen it's ######### up.

its called latency, it was introduced when dedicated servers came out, before that survivor ping was only based on connection to host, now for how long of a window you can get hit through a pallet its killer ping + your ping instead of just your ping

Latency. I have a wired connection with 1GB connection and never experienced this after the live servers went up.

Servers are poop, that's why

Been that way ever since ded servers came out. Many times I've gotten hit through the pallet as it falls, get the points for the killer stun, and no stun even happens.

Latency has almost nothing to do with bandwidth, it's primarily about distance to the server. You could have a 1 GB connection (note: GB is different from Gb) and it still wouldn't matter if you were on the moon.

To be fair an open window is different to a nearly meter wide block of wood. It makes sense.
