Pop is too strong.
It should only for the first hook. As it is now, it causes way too much pressure. It's better than like 90% of the other killer perks, which just illustrates how much a nerf is needed.

A 15 second nerf does nothing. You can hit any gen on the map with 45 seconds. Maybe if they reduced the perk to 10 seconds it would be better.

To be fair, as a surv main, I think Pop is in a good place right now. I personally think a problem is that other perks are far too underwhelming.
I think killers do need strong perks like Pop, Corrupt or Ruin. The problem is that those almost are the only great perks killers have. There is not enough room for variety.
I would love to use Hangman's for example, but 8 (or 6, can't remember) meters is just not enough.

Pop is meh. Split gen pressure and it does very little. I say this as a 50/50 player, so I’ve played both with and against Pop - it’s overhyped. The only time it’s strong in my opinion is when a survivor goes down near an almost completed gen, or on Freddy.

Pop depends wholly on how good a killer is. It rewards and incentivizes not camping. You can get your first pop after three gens are done. 25% can easily be gained back within seconds if survivors stack on a generator.
Pop is one of the most balanced perks in the game. It rewards a killer for playing well. If you go and try to Pop a generator you see in the distance, and the survivors complete it before you can even get there, it's useless. How is it too strong again?

After a hook the killer can pressure 3 survives at a once (1 is hooked, 1 can be chased, and one needs to save).
Can't spread out progress if only 1 person can do gens.

Takes time to relieve that pressure. Once you've ran to hook, unhooked, healed, go to gen, start working on it again, the killer has downed another survivor and 3 are pressured soon enough again.
You can't spread work in gens when the design of the game has 3 survivors under constant pressure.

Well if a killer is constantly downing survivors and applying pressure preventing survivors from working on gens, what is pop actually doing then? Survivors aren't getting gens done anyways.

If the survivors are going down that fast, the killer would have won without regression perks.
Pop is mediocre at best these days. You get like 3x the stall from ruin undying than corrupt pop if you can get the ball rolling early, which is usually easy with discordance/tinkerer showing you exactly where to go.

Because it prevents even the 1 gen survivors are trying to finish from being completed. Survivors have a bit of a chance if they can do one gen at the time (3 survivors pressured means 1 can do gens), but pop obliterates this possibility.

It doesn't even have to be fast. Getting to a hook, unhooking the survivor, healing the survivor, then getting back on a gen can take over 30 seconds.
Being chased by the killer for that long is a good chase.

What ranks are you playing at? This sounds like green rank problems. Even a Freddy with pop on a three gen can still have that generator finished so long as the survivors don’t act like idiots.

Pop is a good perk, but if survivors are unable to lead the killer on chases that buy the rest of the team to do gens then it's not going to matter. Survivors don't have to immediately unhook the hooked survivor so even if the killer hooks someone and immediately starts a chase, two survivors are capable of working on gens during the start of that chase. And when the person is unhook, the unhook person and the unhooker can immediately start working on gens too.
Pop will never be the reason why the survivors lost, it's the poor time management that kills them.

Only 30 seconds? Maybe if the killer is a Nurse/Spirit/Deathslinger or something.
You can last longer than 30 seconds against the majority of killers just by camping every pallet and holding W. You can make pallets like the shack last for minutes against many killers. You need to learn how to loop.
Pop is not even worth stopping to kick the gen with sometimes. My main use for it is getting another tinkerer proc, and ruin/undying is still better for it than that.

You're probably right, 30 seconds is still too long since you can reach any gen on the map. It should only give you enough time to reach close gens.

My dude, there are 7 generators per map. Pop can only be applied to 1 at a time. Likely what's happening is you're going down too quickly and letting the Killer get Pop over and over again. The perk is only as good as Survivors let it be. Git gud.

Most killers don't use Pop every single time they hook someone. It's already dependent on getting a hook, and it requires the killer to make a choice between defending the hook or going to a gen. Kicking a gen is not fast, it wastes a bit of time and if the gen hasn't been worked on beyond a certain point it's not even worth kicking. Even then, it may be a choice between kicking the gen or chasing a survivor; unless the survivor is a potato, the killer can't do both.
Just because a perk is better than other perks doesn't make it OP. In DbD, it just illustrates how so many perks are complete trash.

Pop is a perk that takes 25% away from a generator, or 20 seconds. If your going on a generator alone. Most of the time, Survivor's stack up or have toolboxes. A commodious toolbox literally shaves off about 11 seconds from a generators total repair time or half of the Pop's effect.
Stacking on a generator nearly cuts the generators time in half, even more so if one of them is using Prove Thyself, which makes Pop's effect even shorter.
These are only two examples out of many. This is one of the worst balance ideas I've ever seen, and I've seen people that want to make DS and Ruin basekit.
Pop is a decent perk. Not OP, not trash. Just decent. Many killers already have to choose between Popping a Gen or chasing. It's heavily reliant on how good a Killer is. Survivor's have to make mistakes for this perk to even come into play.

How many of those are killer in red ranks. Can't be more than zero. If you did you'd realise how not particularly strong of a perk (actually pretty bad when you do the math. Its exclusively good when survivors mess up and tap a gen you just popped then go down next to it) pop is. At this point I'd consider just Ruin or Surge better than Pop.

So after reading everything it just sounds like you or your team just isn't playing very well if pop is getting this much value or you guys are going down so frequently and can't work on gens. Pop only regresses 20 seconds of 1 survivors work on 1 generator and the killer usually has to give up some pressure to use it.
10 seconds would in no way be good for the perk, it would immediately be dumpster tier. I don't know why you only want it to work on close gens. if you're going to pop a far gen there's a very good chance it'll be done by the time you get there unless you're playing select killers.
If your team spread out on gens or just didn't go down so fast, its really not an issue. The games I played where pop gets a lot of value is the ones where the survivors over commit to one gen and go down pretty easily. In most games its just ok to good, and sometimes it gets very little if any value if the survivors really know what they're doing or luck is working against me. Its already a kinda situational perk. I've seen no problem really playing with or against it, unless the survivor team misplays pretty hard and like you get 2 pops on one gen because 2 survivors messed up right next to it back to back.

Your right that pop is still a top tier killer perk however there is plenty of counter play to it. As a killer main I'd be fine if they nerfed meta killer perks as long as they nerfed meta survivor perks as well!

OK, this has to be bait. However, if you ARE actually this stupid, let me throw some math at you.
Kicking a gen with Pop regresses the gen by 25%, or 20 seconds for a single survivor. However, this does not buy you 20 seconds. You still have to make your way to the gen. Let's talk best case scenario hero. Let's say the gen is right beside the hook. Walking over to it takes about, say, 3 seconds. Then, you have to kick the gen, which takes 2 seconds by default. Now you're down to 15 seconds you gained, or 18.75% while 3 other survivors are still doing gens. Every second a survivor is on gens, let's just ignore skillchecks, progresses the gen by 1.25%. 5 seconds x 1.25 progress per second x 3 survivors = 18.75%. Subtract the progress survivors get while you get to the gen to pop it from the time you gain from Popping the gen, you gain a total of 0 seconds. So, essentially, Pop just reverts the progress made in 5 seconds by 3 survivors, but only on a single generator. And this is best case scenario. In the best case scenario, kicking a gen with Pop is just as worthless as facecamping.
Complain about a Killer perk again. I'll show you why you're wrong.
