Balanced Landing is extremely good. I misjudged it
For a long time, I thought that balanced landing was too niche and map specific to be useful. I only used it for challenges and pretty much nothing else. Until I realized I was looking at the perk completely wrong. Balanced Landing isn't meant to be used as a single exhaustion perk it's meant to be used as a secondary exhaustion perk.
Running Dead Hard with Balanced Landing means I can actively chose which perk is best for which scenario. It gives me a ton more options because some maps are awesome for Balanced and others aren't so much. Plus, players in this game are really locked into the only one exhaustion perk mindset so once I use Dead Hard or Balanced the Killer will play around my exhaustion perk, which can cause them to make some super massive misplays.
You probably don't want to run Balanced Landing with Sprint Burst, but all the other exhaustion perks are fair game. Mix and match. You'll have more options in chase and seriously mess with Killers heads.

I mean it used to be flat out OP, so yeah it's alright. You'll still see some very good red rank survivors with it doing just fine.

I use Balance Landing mostly for stealth plays, it's great!

I personally don't run it anymore with more than 1 exhaustion perk since they got rid of the stagger when exhausted, however I still love it and find me using that as one of my primary perks (other than sprint burst).
