How Do You Handle Your Bloodwebs?
I ask you multiple things with this question, such as...
- What gear do you immediately go for?
- How do you (generally) treat the Entity?
- What do you avoid at (almost) all cost?
- Are there Perks/Teachables you never go for to get them out of the way?
- How efficient are you with ending the Bloodweb?
- And other questions i just can't think of.
I treat my Wraith Bloodwebs pretty much like this...
- If i can buy 1/2 Perk(s), i get that after the 4th purchase.
- If i can buy 3 or more Perks, i do 2 purchases towards the Perk i want the most, then 1 purchase towards the other 2.
- I then buy the Perk i want the most, and the Entity will eat Perk #2 for example.
- The paths are made so that it cannot catch up to me buying my way towards Perk #3.
- If there are no Perks available, i go for my top Add-ons without even thinking of what's in the way.
- After my top Add-ons, i go for Survivor Puddings, Bloody Party Streamers, Black Wards & Hollow Shells in that order.
- Then i go for the Add-ons that aren't top but still useful.
- Then i go for the other Bloodpoints Offerings, from Ardent to Devout to normal, with Ravens first, then Shrikes, then Tanagers & then Spotted Owls.
- After all that's gone, i simply go for what's the cheapest purchase.
- Then the next Bloodweb appears.
I treat all my other Bloodwebs pretty much like this...
- Starting at level 1, there's not much you can do until level 10.
- Starting with level 10, i go for Perks to spawn the Entity immediately, then just buy whatever's cheapest.
- Once at level 30, i get the Teachable immediately.
- Then i keep the 2nd strategy up until the other 2 Teachables.
- After i get their Teachables, i've most likely already played them enough for me to form my opinion on them, which has a 99.9% chance to push me back to Wraith anyway, so their Bloodweb gets abandoned.

I handle them one bloodweb at a time

All the killers I play are already max perks so...
One: Buy every Green or Pink Mori
Two: Map offerings I want for that killer, I try to make it a point to never buy Ormond or Haddo on any killer ever
Three: OP add-ons
Four: Spam browns until the next bloodweb

Finally a topic for me... you know, with all this "killer mains vs survivor mains" threads, I feel excluded.
Yes, I'm a main Bloodwebber, I have 3k+ hours in Bloodweb disentanglement, so I know my stuff 🥕.
First, I only do bloodwebs when there's perks in them. I'm not interested in these baby bloodwebs without any perks, they are just low rank (possibly even bloodwebbing on console, bluargh) and I would feel sad for them.
With this out of the way, the beginning is always like this:
- check if any perks have straightforwards ramification, that the Entity can block without looping me around some non sense.
- check if in these eventual ramification is another perk as well
Knowing this, I perk rush towards the one perk that is more out positioned - no easily blocked ramifications, shortest path.. things like that. After I pick the perk, I need to check if the entity is now where I want her to be, or if she's trying to go towards a god bloodweb loop.
In the latter case, if possible I try to cut her out, so that she needs to go towards a stupid ramification that will remove a lot of items. If I'm unable, then I prefer to perk rush the other way - this way the Entity will get cocky and go for the 4th perk, and EGC starts.
I'm a bit afraid devs will eventually nerf perk rushing, hopefully this reply will not induce this kind of reaction on the team...

I prioritize the best add-ons as Killer, your Stolen Sketchbooks, Chewed Pens, Flower Babushkas, Flasks of Bleach, Rat Livers, Video Tapes, and Burning Man Paintings.
Then I go for perks. If I don't have BBQ, Enduring, or Whispers I prioritize Tier 1 perks. If I do get them, I prioritize Tier 2s, then Tier 3s, and etc.
As Survivor I only go for perks unless I'm levelling Nea - as her I have all perks, so I go after Offerings that I don't have a lot of, add-ons that I could do with more of, etc.

I go for the addons and items I use the most and try to cut off the entity to get what I need usually. If it's a new killer survivor I'll go for the perks I want making the entity to eat the most nodes until I'm perked out and only get items and addons I want after. For Myers and Doc I'm just looking for the game, lerrys and hawkins offerings, if I don't see them I'll take the most efficient path to refresh the bloodweb

Intentionally causing the entity to eat half a bloodweb is the only feeling of satisfaction I still get from this game.

Get two perks and try to let The En-ti-ty take as much as the bloodweb to save points. I don't usually put bloodpoints after I own all the perks unless it's killer.

I still don't have any characters with all the perks, so I always cut a path towards a perk. My order of pathing priorities is:
- A perk I actually want
- A perk that's on a path that has streamers/pudding/cake
- A perk that's on a path with a good item or my favourite add-ons
- A perk that I don't want, that isn't near anything good, but it's tier three, so this will get rid of it
- A perk that I don't want, that isn't near anything good, and it's not tier three, but it's the only one left, so, fine
- Cheap stuff to close out the blood web

I'm a completionist, so I unlock all the Teachables and get all the perks on all my characters. I don't prestige though, cause its not worth a slightly different default cosmetic. I also only have all perks on 2 survivors, cause they're all the same besides audio and character models.
In my Bloodwebs, I go for a Tier 3 perk first, whichever is better if there's more than one. My second perk is usually a Tier 1 perk, just so I can have all the perks available on a Killer. I always get my Tier 3 perk, and 90% of the time get my other perk. The other 10% the Entity takes it, so I just go for a second choice. Unless I have nearly every perk I usually get 2 perks per Bloodweb.
If I got all the perks on a character I go for addons that I'm low in, EX: If I need more Iri. Queens on Doc I go for them first when they appear in my Bloodweb.

- What gear do you immediately go for?
Either Tier 3 or Tier 1 Perks, except if there is a Perk I want to have. E.g. I use Corrupt Intervention a lot, if there is Corrupt Intervention 2, I get it straight away. But usually I go for Tier 3 Perks first and Tier 1 Perks afterwards.
When it comes to Add Ons, mostly those I use the most. E.g. Bags for Trapper, Windstorm/Swift Hunts for Wraith, I dont care about Billy, because I dont use Add Ons...Range/Setting Speed for Hag, Hafts and Belts for Huntress...Stuff like that.
- How do you (generally) treat the Entity?
I ignore the Entity mostly. Just if there is a good BP-Offering (Cake/Pudding/BPS) next to a Perk, I go in that direction so that I can get this BP-Offering, if the Entity takes the Perk next to it.
- What do you avoid at (almost) all cost?
Most Map Offerings and Odd Bulbs/Ebony Moris.
- Are there Perks/Teachables you never go for to get them out of the way?
I get them all.
- How efficient are you with ending the Bloodweb?
Probably not that much, lol.

- First priority is always perks. If I'm not keen on any of my perk options, then I'll try to get perks which won't help me clear out the Bloodweb faster or that are near other things I want.
- Big BP offerings and add-ons that I really want come next. I will sacrifice Cake/Pudding/Streamers nodes if they would result in a large portion of Bloodweb being removed, but otherwise I try to snag 'em all up.
- The only survivor items I'll go out of my way for are Purple Flashlights (because I hardly see or plunder them for some reason); I've already got a plethora of every other item I could want besides these.
- If it reaches a point where the Web is going to start being 1-for-1 (the Entity taking 1 node for each 1 that I get), then I'll aim for buying up as many of the cheapest nodes as possible to save BP.
***The only nodes I actively try to NOT get are Shrouds; I think they are terrible offerings and the Entity can have them all back. Though I don't really use most of the other non-BP offerings either unless I'm doing some special challenge or build related to them (or I just have no more BP offerings on that character).
I have a few "all-perks-available" characters, but I don't really continue to invest BP into them after that point. On the rare occasions when I do, I just start at the second bullet point above and continue like normal.

Trapper and Dwight are my bloodpoint dumps so I'll go with them. If it's not a P3 character I will level him up to 50 by grabbing perks and will not Prestige again until that character is completely out of add ons. Yes that puts me at a disadvantage at high ranks but if I'm really trying to beat I'll put my Trapper or Dwight on duty.
-What gear do you immediately go for?-
Trapper side, Purple trapper bags and ultra rare add ons. I also like black wards because it's basically 2 free add ons. I'll skip moris because I just don't ever really use them. I don't need to.
Survivor side: I'll hunt down medkits. Flashlights and Toolboxes aren't what they used to be but I run healing builds usually so a green med kit makes me that much harder to knock down. I feel most survivor add ons are trash though. Even a key only matters if the hatch has spawned, and if everyone's alive then you already won anyway. Key fears are overrrated.
-How do you (generally) treat the Entity?-
I try to grab the stuff I want immediately and just start grabbing brown add ons so I don't have to buy expensive tools I won't use.
-Are there Perks/Teachables you never go for to get them out of the way?-
If the perk is useless at rank 1, I usually won't bother. The characters that still need perks are only getting leveled to 50 and the ones at P3 50 have all the perks.
-How efficient are you with ending the Bloodweb?-
I just start grabbing brown add ons when I'm done, so pretty fast/cheap.
-And other questions i just can't think of.-
Yes.
You should prestige. Getting that slight chance of an extra good item in your web may be the difference between having what you need and not having it. Plus I like the bloody cosmetics. Yeah you can toss down twenty bucks and get something snazzy, but you've gotta put in a little work for that bloody helmet.

If I'm leveling a character just for teachables, I go for the cheapest things I possibly can. I plan my spending around forcing the entity to snack on the bottleneck nodes that also snap up 2-3 other nodes. All I care about is savings.
If it's a character I main, I go for fun stuff. As a survivor, medkits, autoheals and bandages, followed by maps, extra map time, keys and key add-ons (I don't use keys to escape, so dulls I often avoid. Green and Skeleton are my fav's). I also avoid BP offerrings that aren't Cake, Pudding, or BPS. I avoid cheap mists, but I go for the purples. I also go for White/Black Wards because they are effectively two free add-ons of my choosing. I avoid Mori's, just because I never use them. Not even yellows.
If I don't have all perks, I prioritise the highest tier perk (unless there's another one I've been waiting for). I prefer to get trash out of my web than leave it in to take up precious nodes. And once I've got all perks, I stop caring about forcing the entity to nom nodes and just buy whatever, wherever. Screw efficiency. I'm in no rush to get to the next web, not unless my current one is legit trash (which almsot never happens).
I also have a wierd relationship with map offerrings. Sometimes I snap them up, other times I just don't care, and never do I ever use them except in extremely rare scenarios, just because specific green offerrings are so rare. Red Forest ones are my fav's.

On survivor:
1: look at perks and choose a perk to get.
2: get that perk
3: get any 2nd perk if possible
4: then go the cheapest route, no exceptions
I have tons of brown offerings, map and toolbox addons I'll never use.
On killer the only difference is that I'll pay slightly more attention to green items but not much else.

when you hear that "SCCRRRRRREEEEAAAAAAAACCCHHRRRRRRRHHHHRRCCCC" after multiple items get blackened... aaaaah, heaven.
