Grab Bug Abuse
How often do you guys encounter this bug ? I watched otz and I remember he played against survivor that abouse this bug where if they succesfully pull it the killer can't do anything except basic attack but the survivor thats grabbed can still heal,do gens,and even escape.
Well i encountered this bug today while playing trapper and it was just sad,I wasn't even winning but they just pull this bug on me making me can't do anything for the rest of the match (I can't even undo the bug by stepping on my own trap) and meanwhile the survivor that was "grabbed" still roaming free and even healing others.
So how often do you guys find survivors that abuse this ?

I think you are talking about the latency/dedicated server problems with killer grabs and the slim chance of getting stuck mid-animation as the killer?
I never knew survivor could force this?
And if the can, just lunge instead to avoid it.

I had a game yesterday where a Nancy started saboing a hook when I was already filling the hook bar and got stuck there whilst the player wiggled free. That was weird. Could have just been latency.

no its not the grab animation cancel bug,its when you grab someone and then after that you can't do anything,you can't lunge you can't hook you can't use ur ability.

Are we even allowed to say how to do it? Isn't there like a rule to not explain how to do an exploit?

I literally watched a Ghostface ger robbed. As the hooked survivor. I'm not complaining too loudly since I was getting basement camped, but the fact is that I had the highest ping in that lobby and I saw the Ghostface start the grab animation before randomly deciding that life is better lived with knives.
Edit: as in, for the rest of the trial he was just stabbing and didn't do anything else to the point he let someone crawl out the gate. I don't know if he was bugged but we couldn't see the animation, or if he was just really wierd.

he is probably bugged too,when i was playing trapper the survivors seems confused too

Hook and generator grabs have been completly unreliable ever since the switch to dedicated servers, because it seem to give the priority to the survivors, no matter how late they cancel their action. And even when they work, they can still finish working on the gen or successfully unhook teammates. I've seen it happen myself.
Meanwhile, locker and vault grabs are completly fine, since survivors are locked in animation and can't cancel out of it.
And apparently its not a problem since nothing seems to be done about it, even tho its a massive nerf for stealth killers in general, who could rely on grabs to compensate for a lack of lethalithy.

Im not talking about the grab cancel bug,im talking about a bug where if you "grab" an injured survivor the game recognise you carrying that survivor but the survivor can just heal do gens etc,meanwhile you are stuck with basic attack.Thats the kind of bug im talking about
